No you need to buy a wrecked evo to convert a lancer to an evo (5k-9k) not including the long block swap and drivetrain. Said and done you’d be better off just buying a real evo. Take it from me I literally have a whole video on doing one myself lol

@@itsaprojectbro2257 The only expensive part of an evo is the AWD system in my country. A 4G63 is just like $500 and the bodykit $600. A 2nd hand original Evo 7-9 is around $30K to $60K

The complete conversion costs the same as importing one (sometimes even more so). But the car is old, and we cant import older cars so the enthusiasts basically convert regular lancers.. tbf cars here cost 2-4 times more than what they are actually worth.. a simple nissan 350z go for upwards of USD 40k (about 8 times more)

@@33shaheer46 you cannot import vehicles into certain countries and some of them are very rare, even if you find one you maybe have to pay 5 or 6 times the real price. For example in my country there was an evo viii for sale a while ago for 100k usd

@@hassamfarooq1146 trying to get an evo is very hard plus taxes in Pakistan make it even harder so it is easy to just convert a lance into an evo. Personally i wont convert this lancer into evo but i am thinking of converting a 1998 lancer into evo
