well , for those who are buying one , i would advice you to buy the 2.0l as it has exactly the same engine as an evo X , the only difference is that its turbocharged for the evo

@Silverrr88 put them to the heater for 8 min. take them out and you will open it realy easy... when you put the leds put it to the heater again for 8 min(if its already cold) and reconnect it.. its easy dont be afraid

@ MARINOS180 Greetings, and you only have put the turbine and a radiator and all? More did nothing? Cam-shafts didn't change or pistons, the electronic block didn't adjust, what pressure upon the turbine?

Call roadrace motor sports and they will tell you how to turbo a cvt lancer. There are a bunch of people running the cvt with turbo. The key is to keep the cvt cool with a cvt transmission cooler.

HI bov is HKS SSQV psi 6.5 and the lip is from ARS bodykits... if you will have any problems just tell me to help you

@150886Z no camshafts, stock internals and the pressure is 0.6 bar

@92Rocco Hi any car can be turboed my internals are stock and the presour is 0.45 bar and it gain 90whp.. just make sure that you will do good work and make it to be like it is stock if have any questions just ask...

@Faddool cvt transmission can handle more than 200 torque... the new 1.8Diesel engine 2010 they have now has 300 Nm on the manual and 180Nm on the CVT..

well like has anything unexpected happened like oil leaks or boost leakage or engine failure or anything like that? Please do me a 0-100 time i would absolutely love it. would you say its between 5-6 or 6-7

it is still can of slow install some ngk pro-v spark plug and get ngk racing wires for the spark plug because it is looking like the standard plugs and wires are in and slowing down the car big time, because right now the pro-v spark plug and wires will be faster or fast as that without a turbo so change them and GOOD LUCK

anis, i think he is using RRM turbo kit. the kit itself is about RM 14k tho. speedwork has similar but i dont think they got the tuning quite rite yet. heard complaints about it last time.

@Faddool it is possible but i will dissapoint you 3 people tryied to turbo the CVT(even with low boost) but and the 3 broke the CVT transmition... unfortunately it cant hangle the torque....

no 2.0L in Greece and 1.8 with 2.0 is the same the only differense is bigger stroke from the cranksaft

hei man , great car. I have a question: I`ll soon buy a Lancer Sportback 1.8 MT .[ I had one with AT and it did very low mpg and had very little power. i was disappointed.] The only thing i wanna do to it , i wanna increase the torque because it's very low. I`m don't want to raise hp much (160hp -170 is enough) but i wanna increase the torque from 170 to 250-300Nm.Do you think i can just chip it or something or i must turbocharge it for that ( cuz it's pretty expansive..) iv got a lancer GTS 2009 (4B12 engine 2.4L 167bhp) CVT do u think its possible to turbo charge it? iv seen the lancer on roadracemotorsports but theirs is manual.. so is it possible to turbo charge a CVT? mine has paddle shifts also if that helps in anyway

you can't turbo a cvt, only manual. transmission can't handle it. if you want turbo, but an RA like me ;) or evo :D
