Nope. Mitsubishi drive@earth philosophy forbids that. That is why the Evolution was skipped too. Only environmentally friendly cars from now on. This rally car is not Mitsubishi, but a private company that made it.
Actually the reason why Mitsubishi stopped making a lot of their cars like Lancer, Pajero, Eclipse is because they weren't selling so good. Making a small economy sedan with a engine borrowed from a Lancer Revolution sounds like an amazing idea, but hence the public probably won't buy it and it would be a waste of money for Mitsubishi, which is why no such things exist... sad :(
Mitsubishi, Subaru, nor Suzuki will probably ever be solvent enough financially to launch a major motorsport campaign again. Suzuki couldn't sell enougj cars period. Mitsubishi had it's own emission scandal. Subaru has gone sterile. BTCC is probably as good as it gets.
