Ну мне показалось что они по разным путям ехали, у паджерика посложнее препятствие были ,да и водитель не тот. А так было бы очень интересно сравнить по одной и той же дороги и один водитель. Предлагаю повторить
Паджерик ехал по низу вывешивая машину помогала ему задняя блокировка а прадик поверху без припятствий чтоб не встать на диагонали так как нет задней блокировки а помощники все это хрень
On the Mitsubishi, If the diesel is like the gas version, the slightest touch of the accelerator goes from idle to lead foot in a Fraction of an inch. I think they do that to make it seem more responsive, they make the accelerator pedal pedal very touchy.

Ну как то же он доехал за Паджериком, чай не по воздуху прилетел. Прадо отличная машина в умелых руках, Паджеро тут просто не в те руки попал, не открыли весь потенциал.

Its very complicated comparison. Toyota has plus in many things but minus in some other things as well as Pajero has. It depends on what terrain you are driving and what is the criteria to elaborate the results.
In this video the Pajero rely on the traction control (rear differential lock was not activated). But on the land cruiser prado the diff lock is activated from the begining that's why it runing smoother on this rocky track.
Mohamed Gaaloul bullshit! I’m an owner of a standard Prado 120 series and it never came with lockers. a rear locker only comes since the 150 series replaced the 120 series. The reasons why the Prado is more capable are: 1. A ladder frame (body on frame) as an opposed to the Pajero which has a monocoque frame. 2. Longer wheel travel in the Prado.
@@eden4x4 bullshit!! there is no relationship between monocoque body and suspension travel !! A monocoque body can get a suspension with a massive wheel travel and provides the same level of off-roading capacity as a ladder frame. Actually on the Pajero the suspension travel are mainly limited by shock absorbers in order to get better stability on road and highways. We just replaced the shock absorbers on the Pajero 3 by the LC 200 ones. They fit direcly on the Pajero and the wheel travel gain was huge!!

This is not pedal modulation. The pajero goes in 1rst gear(manual trans), low range and idle for sure. It use to happen to me in some situations using diesel and real low range.
How to recognize an amateur/bad driver? Doesn't have two hands on the wheel and doesn't have the strength to keep the pedal pushed for longer than halve a second.

Everyone that buys a pajero thinking Mitsubishi winning dakar 7 times is selling point will soon have all the time to reconsider his decision of buying one when he is bogged down in 4 feet of mud while the landcruisers walk on by lol.
Forget driver or tyres. The simple easy to see fact is that the pajero has zero wheel travel, it lifts a tyre constantly, it's so sad to see what mitsu have done to this beast.
On road I confirm 😉is better by far (I tested drive both cars). but for offroad use it should be slightly modified. Mainly with modded shock absorbers for greater wheel travel and it still depending on the situation. I confirm that the Pajero still better on sand regardless modded or not. Especially if it is equipped with 16 inch wheels.

This is not a correct match. Toyota had already put a heavy drive on the four-wheel drive gear and the differential lock had already been activated. But Mitsubishi was only on four-wheel drive, there was no heavy gear, and the differential lock was not active. You are kidding
Toyota Prado appeared a perfect blend of power traction and drivability and was a better off roader than Mitsubishi pajero which is lighter in weight and hence lacked required traction even on off-road.
This did not show anything. The LC driver clearly took better lines a novice driver can tell that. Mark the course take the same line. Let’s see a true comparison!

We know very well its limits and it is not better than a Pajero (3rd generation at least)😉 We will upload more videos very soon!! PS: the Pajero 4th generation has a shorter wheel travel compared to 3rd generation in order to enhance its stability on road and highways. This limitation was performed by shorter shock absorbers. By replacing shock absorbers the Pajero get a huge wheel travel gain compared to stock. Actually we use an LC 200 ones instead.

It seems that @3:30 Pajero driver locked the rear diff. After that it was effortless for Pajero. Prado driver obviously took easier path as compared to Pajero.
