For real? It's a silly looking 4.3meter subcompact car running at 104 horsepower. The corolla cross has 120hp.

would've been nice if have the engine is either turbo or a 2.0, since the ASX use 2.0l engine. ADAS is a must for today's generation of cars.

The car looks futuristic with the exterior design. The interior design is not so bad in the class compared to its rivals. Overall it is good except there is no ADAS available. Hopefully when this model enters the Malaysian market it is coming with ADAS.

Yes it is 1.5L like the Xpander, BUT this is a smaller body. And the Xpander's engine to body ratio isnt bad in terms of power.

It would have been a perfect car if they gave it a set of bigger brakes and the hybrid engine from their outlander.

1.5 litre with the big wheel, afraid underpower. I dont expect have 1.5 litre turbo, if have 1.8 litre is adequate.

throw in adas, moon roof it would make the sales go through the roof, but if this comes by end of 2024, it would be outdated. every car manufacturer moving to electric

i very much dislike the fabric on the dashboard. i think in very short time it will have dirt stains which probably never can clean

I love Mitsubishi cars but the engine is such a letdown in this car

I appreciate the design and large boot. However, the engine is too weak to be efficient with carrying 4 people and the typical items for a day at the beach driving above sea level around a few mountains. Doesn't anyone make 1.8L natural aspirated engines anymore. (turbos increases maintenance cost over time)

Not convinced that is a dynamic shield(no chrome and those new accents just look off). The back is nice and I like the symmetry,the trunk is a wait and see. The interior looks nice and I like those rear seats(they could have ditched the Xtrail steering wheel though, another reminder of The Alliance). I agree that the engine is a concern, this car weighs slightly more than the Xpanders if its 1300kgs.

Super exterior but 1.5L engine really let it down. HRV C Cross have better engine. This is more comparable with the Yaris Cross really…

To me for now the Chery Omoda still the complete B segment suv in the market. Beautiful in and out but reliability and handling wise is still in question.

Mitsubishi should start on EV version cars. Currently Japanese cars are decline due to absence of EVs.

Coming to Malaysia next year ... That already BASI ( obsolete) , against EV booming right now, is better sell at Indonesia market.

Mitsubishi seems not ready yet for the launching. Here it causes some issues. One, the absence of ADAS. Mitsubishi did say that there is another trim with all bells and whistles like ADAS and 6 airbags. And they also did showing the car at the event. But, did they sell it? No. They say they'll introduce it next year but can't say the exact time. WHY DON'T JUST SELL IT ALREADY, THE CAR ALREADY THERE WHY NOT SELLING IT??? Whereas almost all of its rivals got ADAS already. Second, the price. At the launch, mitsubishi announced the pricing of the car which is IDR 412 million (for ringgit convert it yourself). But then, NOT EVEN A DAY they immediately raised the price by IDR 7 million to be IDR 419 million. WHY???

Contrary to many comments here, I find the XForce setup to be quite satisfactory thus far (price will determine final answer). I don't speak for all and I agree it's nice to have a 1.5T engine for it's oomph, but that firepower from a 1.5T as a daily car might be unnecessary for some. If you want a 1.5T, Omoda 5 / HRV are options for you to choose from. To Mitsubishi's defense, the XForce is around 150kg lighter than it's rivals (hopefully with spare tayar included la hehe). Will be interesting to see how it performs on Malaysian roads. Many of us only ask for smooth acceleration from the CVT in towns/cities and sufficient grunt from the 1.5NA to maintain 110km/h highway or the occasional Genting trip. It's quite unfortunate the 4AT isn't offered, would've been another key selling point in comparison to it's rivals. Remember guys, this car was made/built for comfort and not necessarily for power as it's main selling features are : 1. ASEAN-tuned suspensions ( potholes ) 2. Yamaha speakers ( ride enjoyment rather than wind blasting against screen & tire/road noise ) 3. Active Yaw Control ( for safer rides during wet roads, something like 4x2 to 4x4 change during lower speeds I suppose ) 4. Ride height at 222mm 5. Narrow turning radius of 5.2 metres I'm being hopeful (and perhaps dreaming 😝) that the asking price would be similar to the Xpander at sub 100k.
