Yes, my opinion is that both Parties are failing the American people by moving to their respective fringe philosophies, also. After beginning my "voting life" as a moderate Republican and then a moderate Democrat, this year I chose to be non-affiliated.

America is losing a good one with his retirement. The GOP has dug itself into such a deep hole over the last 7-8 years and they just keep digging. My former party is unsavable at this point, and it will take at least a generation to overcome. Quite possibly two generations.
