I remember the days when Miu Miu was a cheaper version of Prada. It was considered slightly “twisted” “off” version of Prada. Innocent but with a twisted edge
So discovered your channel a few days ago and I am obsessed! Firstly I love your personality! I appreciate how real you are. Now binge watching all your videos.
Nothing like a Ca$$ie report, love it here. I didn’t like the knicker trend but this is the inspo for my NYE outfit 😂. Samba’s are soooo uncomfortable that flatness will have your foot in pain!!!! 2023 fashion has been like pick n mix sweets, a lot liquorice dolly mixtures and not enough gummy bears😂
As a crazy Beyoncé fan (I went to see Renaissance 3 times) I really loved that every show felt unique. I went to see her pop up shop with Flannels X when she did her mini residency and they had an exhibition in the shop and it was gorgeous seeing the pieces in person. I need it for the tour outfits too!
Miu Miu has been doing very well ever since Raf Simons joined Prada! I have a theory Miu Miu is where all of Miuccia’s creative energy is at these days 😅
@@CassieThorpe Loewe is not for me... But, my daughter made me buy a gorgeous, useless knit in baby blue and white... Just not my vibe and very dainty. I put it on after bitching and whining that it indeed was beautiful but that I was not the right person to wear it and that I was too short etc.... Was at Rodeo and so many people were stopping to tell me how beautiful my sweater was. I still felt and feel it just is not for me. I feel the same for the Adidas sneaker.
I swear I haven't really seen the ballet flat trend all that much in real life. I live in NYC and vacationed in Paris this year, and perhaps because I was there late summer and early fall, I didn't see a single ballet flat. Sneakers definitely reigned supreme here.
I definitely agree with Beyonce’s Renaissance high fashion looks were a trending hit. I sincerely hope that she will bless us with a coffee table book of all the outfits! Loved all of the different types of trends you included.
This is so much fun! Thanks Cassie, without you I would have never had a clue what the trendy peeps are wearing, it's nice to be oblivious but ever even more delightful to be made aware 😊
The Samba is actually NOT comfortable. The tongue is unusually long and hits the front of your leg near your foot. You have to trim the tongue to avoid having crazy pain within an hour of putting them on. But like the Veja (incredibly painful), people will do what they need to make them work. They ARE good looking with just about everything so I get it:)
Morning Cassie! I am obsessed with that khaki green crewneck you’re wearing. Do you mind sharing the deets on it? It looks so comfortable and great for layering! ❤🎉
Fascinating recap, Cassie! Your rundown of the year's fashion highlights was both insightful and engaging. Mumu's rise as the brand of the year, particularly with their ballet flats, really resonated with me. The shift towards sexy Prada-esque styles and the ongoing ballet flat trend are spot-on observations. Also, the discussion about the 'no pants' trend and its impracticality for everyday wear gave me a good laugh! The segment on logo of the year with the LOE anagram and its subtle yet recognizable design was intriguing. It's interesting to see how less overt logos are gaining popularity. The focus on the 'naked shoe' trend and Adidas Samba as the sneaker of the year highlighted the diversity in current shoe trends. Your take on Jenny Kim as the power dresser of the year was delightful. Her influence in fashion is undeniable. The analysis of various trends, from the bag of the year to the campaign and fashion show highlights, provided a comprehensive view of the year in fashion. Your enthusiasm and expertise make these reviews a joy to watch. Looking forward to your future insights as we step into 2024! Keep up the great work! 👠👗🌟
the hotpants rarely look interesting, but overall it's a no. i want a beyonce renaissance tour exhibition. i'd would totally travel to new york for that.
Unfortunately Bey didn’t provide any visuals Sooo if you didn’t attend you weren’t privy to any of the fashion Supposedly she has no film of the shows fashions???!!!😮I don’t get it??😜😺
I assume tren was wider popularity extending to faahion buyers. Pantsless is a trend for the runway and fashion models doing the pap walk. Nothing else. So I am not sure why that would make it a trend.
No one “regular” is wearing underwear on these streets! I live in LA and have seen zero folks wearing undie/shorts. Gimme a break and put on some clothes!
Thanks for an enjoyable fashion roundup, Cassie, and for your yearlong great content. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Just began watching the video. Have to say, i don't have the money to buy that much luxury (although i have some bags and SLG's),but i like hearing you discussing these news/trends. And you are looking faboulos as always❤ I only have time to write on Monday, therefore i wish you a beautiful christmas for you and your loved ones😊
Can we all just take a moment to thank Bey for kicking off the year of silver and crystals due to "THE TOUR" in all things fashion? Also...the way I screamed when Cassie gave the shoutout to Kit reppin' GenZ lolol
It's a Coffee with Cassie day!! ☕🇬🇧🇺🇸☕💕 I love hearing your commentary on all things fashion!! I grab my mug, sip and enjoy!! And, for the love of God, let's all keep our pants on!! I don't think anyone's ready for that!!😳🙏😂
Miu Miu the hottest brand again? Yawn. Loewe anagram. I've always liked it, but for a brand that usually was quite understated, up until not that long ago, things have changed quite a bit. On some items, both the anagram has gotten huge along with writing, Loewe, on T-shirts/sweatshirts. And some items are with both the large writing and the anagram on the same item. I'll stick with items with the small anagram like on my Puzzles and other Loewe items that I own. I don't need to be a walking Loewe billboard. I agree with the marketing of Jacquemus. That's also a brand that I really like. As for those designer adult-diaper-looking shorts, no further comment. Greetings from Los Angeles
Hello 🙌 love your vids, you’re an absolute delight! I was wondering, do you have any rules or guidelines you set for yourself around spending, budgeting and saving? Any tips to share? Thank you 😊
Thought the shoe of the year would be the YSL slingbacks, seen more of them and I haven’t seen many people with the ballet flats. Also I think miu miu is for popular now because of the skinny trend. I mean those short short skirts 😏
Your new videos are always the first ones I watch when they pop up on my feed!! Just a note that Emma Corrin identifies as non-binary and goes by they/them pronouns (but yes those glitter panties aren't really doing anything for them LOL)
"No Pants" is such a highly-situational trend that I'm surprised it's popular; it sort of defies the expectation that the best trends are the ones most easily implemented by the broadest audience. I'm not against it as a concept, but it's so dependent on having control over your environment and circumstances that I just don't see it becoming widely worn; you have to know exactly where you are going for the day, your other layers have to be chosen to work around it and then if there's a change in the weather or something you're bork'd. It's a very "indoor" trend, if that makes any sense; if you don't physically travel much and are mostly inside of a temputure-controled space it works.
It’s also the year I got my samba and Tabi loafers. My personal opinion is that they’re great. I’m going for a collegiate green pair of sambas next. Which I think is also very Cassie
Heyy!! Cassie I am always always looking forward to your vlogs and I really really missed your yesterday's vlog so so much and I wish you have a best week ahead 🥺💝💝
Happy Monday Cassie. Enjoyed this video immensely. I am surprised with ASAP Rocky, but I know I shouldn't be. He's with the Bajan Q Riri. Most of the views I like & was pleasantly surprised with some. Wow! Thanks Cassie. 🧡🧡🧡.
I know you are going to probably block me for say this, but you are so beautiful and if you would lose the right amount of weight, designers would chase you down to have to wear their clothes, because you are so beautiful and have good content and you are your own character in your show. Just saying.
