Can you do a video on the cowbell? I'm a professional cowbeller but I can't get them to sit in the mix right. The brightness of my cowbells clashes with my accordion.

Love it when you do guitars, thank you. Is there any possibility that you can do an Into the Lair focused on making choices on how to differentiate Intros from the body of the song to the Outro? I've noticed that you have melodic or harmonic stuff a little more "up front" in the intro and maybe the Drums with kick in and Certain elements with fade into the background. Do you make this decision based on the vocal? Genre? Maybe too simple a question, but thanks.

Great video Dave, eq on acoustic was perfect. I felt there was maybe a touch too much compression on it though. It did seem, from the look of the waveform, that that may have happened on the way in. Great stuff as always

Just today I was posting on the PLAP forum how it seems like the majority of mixing and recording "How To" videos are about drums. Then, the very same day you post one on guitars. Although, dang it was so short. But thanks.

If you mic up the acoustic with two mics, one near the sound hole and one sorta behind the strumming arm near the strap peg a little above the sound board it give a really chunky sound you can mix as desired or put the second mic near the head for the finger sounds depend if you want the fingering noises in there or not

This was like the most tasteful thing dave have ever shown me. Sounds like a great guitar from the 70s in a good way.
