Mixing Fibre Reactive Dyes for Direct Dyeing on Silk 

A demo of my method of mixing fibre reactive procion dyes for direct application such as tie dye, tray dyeing, shibori methods or even painting. This recipe is specifically for silk, but you can use it for cotton if you pre soak your item in a soda ash solution. For optimal results on cotton you may need other chemicals as well.
In the video I’m only making up a third of the squeeze bottle. If you need a full bottle, you would use the whole cup of salted water (1 tbsp salt) and 3-4 Of the 1/2 tsps of dye powder (blues such as turquoise require the higher amount.)
