This game looks perfect. When the narrator said "lifes greatest memories are stored in music", thats so true. When I hear Blink 182, I always think of highschool. I'm definitely gonna play that.

It gives off stop-motion animation vibes, like Paranorman or some of Laika's earlier movies. Definetly watching out for this

As an 80s kid, it still baffles me how folks thought of the 80s and 90s as "iconic" and "retro." Because those terms for me is usually reserved for the 70s and 50s. Ah well, this will be a nice piece of nostalgia for me at least.

I'm a 21-year-old introvert and when I saw this, I felt like I will revisit my 18s and do all the things I missed on. And, this game inspired me to buy PlayStation. I have played TWD series, Life is Strange, and all on mobile... Now Life is Strange 2 is out, and can't wait to see that toooooo!! But, Mixtape is the best!!! Can't wait to get my hands on it! 💗😍

Kind of off-topic but still kind of on, I really want a coming of age game with a Deaf main character. The quality of this animation is so clean and clear that sign language would be understood and it would fit the aesthetic. You are living in a world that you don't fit into, and that doesn't understand you. People pressing so many expectations on you, causing you to seek out others like you or close enough so that you may express yourself in ways that you wouldn't be able to. It would also make for a unique game mechanic. This was proven in the Spider-Man 2 PS5 game. On a side mission, you get to play as Hailey Cooper, an up and coming Deaf Street artist. While playing as her, you get to experience the world from her perspective. You can't hear most sounds, and the ones you can are very muffled. She(like many Deaf people) can't read lips, so if you interact with someone who knows sign language then closed captions pop up at the bottom of the screen, and if they don't know sign, the captions will vanish because what she can understand is what you can understand. This forced you as the player to find alternative and sometimes creative ways to communicate with other characters. They also took an artistic liberty to present how she reads people. Her internal dialogue was expressed through spray paint style emoji that would appear in a thought bubble above her head, and this is how she would read others. If someone was mad, then an angry emoji would appear in a bubble above their head. I really hope there's a game like this soon. It wouldn't just fit well within the themes of such a game, but also mean a lot to a community that doesn't get a lot of spotlight.

I wished it had a bit more of frames. Gets on my nerves lmao, the art is awesome, game looks like have a great vibe. It's funny that the car scenes have high frames, the ambiance etc, only the characters are low framed, this doesn't make sense (in my head).
