After spending half a decade moving its existing franchises into the third dimension Nintendo's internal developers and its master producer Shigeru Miyamoto race against the clock to come up with a brand new idea for a GameCube game. The result is a delightful and offbeat new series we know as Pikmin.

Absolutely wonderful video! You do the Gamecube’s history justice better than any RU-vidr or book I’ve seen. I’ve been following this console at an almost obsessive level since the late 2000s. I had a vision to build a channel similar to this but not sure I could make something as good as your content haha Thank you so much for your videos and channel!

I remember getting Pikmin day 1. It was a perplexing experience at the time, I had little patience for the timeline, but having played it again more recently it is a truly unique game. A must play, no doubt

So, Pikmin 3 was my introduction to the franchise, I completely overlooked it during the GC and Wii eras. However, I am so thankful for the franchise, and I'm definitely a defender of the original game - having gone back several times its an amazing blueprint for the franchise that I absolutely adore!
