I have to consider a set of these I think...best looking Mizuno since the MP32/33's

I finally got to hit all 3 models today. The first thing that blew me away and made me laugh was the size of the 241. I put that 7 iron down next to my 7 iron (MP-5) and there’s barely any difference in size. The 241 is a little shallower to be sure, but heel to toe there was no difference and I will die on that hill. My buddy couldn’t tell the difference either. Nobody could. For all the talk of how small the 241 is - it’s just not that small. 241 - MP-5’s have long been my favourite iron to play, so these look perfect to me. Great behind the ball, great in the bag, just a classic and definitely better in person than online. I was hitting my ball (Left Dash) and the feel was as expected. Which is not a knock, they’re so good and the sound was perfect. I may still order these lol. 7-iron 100.3 MPH 117 peak height 6700 RPM 134.3 MPH ball 192.3 carry 243 - I never liked the look of MP-15 and I don’t really care for the bag appeal of these either. I much prefer the look of 223. That said, behind the ball they look every bit as good as the blade. I was blown away by the feel though. Pretty much as good as 241. Whatever they did with the milling slot, they added loads of speed and kept the feel and sound. These were my biggest surprise. 7 iron (6/7 iron?) 100.8 MPH 122 peak 6550 RPM 138.2 MPH ball 201.6 carry 245 - Having already ordered these sight unseen, I was almost worried that I made a mistake because 241 and 243 were so good. I could have ordered the 241’s in a heartbeat. I’m glad I didn’t though. Even though they’re not the same as 241, the feel was amazing. It just happens to be a different feel. I’m a pretty decent ball striker (+1 hcp) so my idea of “all over the face” may be different than others but I just couldn’t seem to miss with these things. I’ve never played a hollow body before and I think I just missed out until now. They’re exactly what I wanted - good looking, good feel and ridiculously forgiving. 7 iron (6 iron in reality) 101.2 MPH 134 peak 5610 RPM 141.8 MPH Ball 212.3 carry This wasn’t a Trackman or Quad, but I’ve found the LM to be pretty decent. All in all, I’m more excited than I was before to get these new sticks.

Wow, great video Jim! I’m interested in a set of these. You reshafted a set of 919 JPX for me early last year. Great work. I found them to dig in too much during the winter here in Oregon. Super raspy to hit though. Are these any better in wet conditions? And I’m not sure about shafts yet and haven’t been able to play since July due to a knee Replacement. Pretty sure a sample or two in a 6 iron and 8 iron in a different shaft. 950 gh or 105 Nippon.

Great video, Jim! Looking forward to the 245's. Can the dispersion of the 5 iron and 7 iron be tightened by tweaking the lie angles?

I am a lefty wanting to go back to blades. How would you rate these in terms of playability vs Wilson Staff blades or Titleist 630 MB? Thanks for the video.
