This works on so many levels. The guardian angel that comes down, the symbolism of that...MJ dedicated it to their fans, you know? Would we be there, would we stay? But at the same time it kind of works in opposites, even though MJ asks for someone to be there, they at the same time tells us "I will be there for you" and it reaffirms the connection of love between Michael and us fans. It can totally be viewed as MJ asking God "Will you be there?" but just as much asking God as part of every single human, the core of everything - will you see use your core godliness of unconditional love and see through it all, will you be there? It's such a brave song. Seriously, would you dare to ask another person this? Would you dare to be this vulnerable to someone else and trust them enough to ask for their help in that vulnerability. Try reading this song to someone. Not as a ploy, not ironically, not as reciting a poem, but as a serious question really asking them to hold you, like the river Jordan, you are my friend... It. Is. Terrifying. And so completely basic for people co-existing. And the other way around: I will carry you, like you are my brother, I'll love you like a mother. I will be there... This is what the world needs. People need to be able to really seeing eachother and deal with whatever's pops up within them in that moment, while staying through and trusting basic love. Creating safety, creating peace. Michael the teacher.

I love this song so much, I love all MJ songs but this song has a special place in my heart. This song is a so emotional song, you can clearly hear his pain in his voice. MJ wrote a lot of songs in his lifetime, he didn't just write lyrics, he wrote about his painful life and told how much he was suffered through his music. There are many great songwriters in the world, but no one can write a perfect song like Michael Jackson. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Michael Jackson is a True Legend🤴🏾👑💕🙌🏾 Hey guys your reaction is amazing as always. And hey I can't wait for your reaction to Who Is It, I love that song so much, I can't even describe how much I love it. ☺ Have a great day! 💖💖

This song is what pain is made of. But, it's also a very hopeful sentiment. It shows that there is a higher power. And that there's always hope. Michael once again speaks to each individuals soul and carries them. MJ is more than a legend. He is something more. Something divine and celestial. A modern day angel. And the world destroyed him. He had his supporters, but, sometimes the hatred is too much. And in this song, him calling out is such a sad tale. Thank you! You're always so positive and beautiful towards us! You are a gem! Thank you for always supporting us! You are such a blessing.

@@honey.brown.nerdrealm MJ had his supporters then and always will, but the problem is this weird society. People always focus on negative things rather than good things. People always say to love others and help others, but in reality they always love to destroy other people's lives. For example you are doing mj reaction videos and those videos are getting decent views now, but if you do controversial videos or criticism videos or sexual videos, I guarantee those videos will get millions of views within hours. Finally what I'm trying to say is that people don't care about the good as much as they care about the bad. I hope you understand what I'm saying. 😍 Such a beautiful, heartbreaking and heartmelting song,and the performance is just stunning ❤ Michaels speech at the end of this always breaks my heart, when his voice cracks (both live and on the record) it kills me and i just wanna give him a huge hug 💔😪 Totally agree it is Michael asking people to see the person that he really was, to be there for him and love him for the human being he was as opposed to the dehumanised celebrity circus act that the media treated him as. - side note: I think this and Human Nature were the first two MJ songs I ever heard, because of Free Willy (the SWV song Right Here/Human Nature edit is also on the soundtrack), when I would have been 5 or 6 when that film came out - love them both dearly :)
@honey.brown.nerdrealm
@honey.brown.nerdrealm 2 года назад
Yeah, the speech a the end truly breaks me. You can hear the pain in his voice. Almost as if he's holding back his tears. Michael treated everyone he cam across with some level of respect and dignity. In return, all he wanted was someone to look at him like a human being. Someone to be loved and cared for. This legend suffered at immense pain internally. Breaks my heart. Because as a child I never really noticed the pain he had to endure. But, as I grew older I can see the pain in his eyes and his song truly reflect that. Wow! Well, those are two great songs to first hear! Thank you so much for your comment!

@@honey.brown.nerdrealm 💯to everything you said! You really can hear his pain, and im pretty sure on the record he actually is crying during the speech - which always makes me cry cos you can hear his voice breaking 😢 And yes, my god that man went through soooo much pain, both physical and emotional - it never ceases to amaze me that he endured it all for as long as he did 😢 By total coincidence, I actually really needed to hear 'Will you be there' yesterday - there had been a load of stuff on twitter yesterday with people posting horrible memes and posts about Michael and making fun of his appearance etc (more so than usual! Wouldnt you know just a few days before his birthday on Monday next week!), and there were alot of MJ fans on twitter who found it really hard going and dispiriting cos it was relentless - so hearing this song, and watching you guys react to it made me smile and felt like a tonic to all the negativity :) So thank you both for that! The higher power and his loyal fans is what made MJ keep going in his life. If we study his life in depth and everything he went through, you would pause and think for a moment like how did this man even made it his 50s. He was very strong, I always loved the phrase he often used to describe himself, "I have a rhinoceros skin". Also, if you pause at 3:05 there's written "women rights now" on top that car". ☺

“Will You Be There” Is the eighth single from MJ’s 1991 album “Dangerous”, doubling as the main theme for Free Willy, appearing on the movie’s soundtrack. The prelude to the song features featuring the Cleveland Orchestra and the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus performing the last movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in D Minor, Opus 125: Presto. Will You Be There ~ Is about God, MJ’s asking him for help and if he’ll be there and stay with him during the tough times he was going through in that period of his life,also how folks in the world was against him,he’s asking God to save him. And he mentions River Jordan in the beginning of the song,and says things like carry me,lead me,show and I will be there like he wants a spiritual rebirth or he feels like this is a turning point in his life where he’s asking for freedom.🥹🙌🏽👑💞💕🌟(This song always pulls at my heart strings and hearing MJ’s voice is unmatched filled with soul,passion,power,emotion & just pure love/carefulness no overly technical singing like most singers are and this song perfectly displays MJ’s AdLibs they’re so majestic yet so powerful these are the best AdLibs I’ve ever heard in any song ever his vocals are unmatched MJ Is The Greatest Singer/Vocalist Of All Time Long Live The King Of Music Forever! Vince Patterson directed two music videos for "Will You Be There". The official video included Jackson performing the song during various stops of the Dangerous World Tour while scenes from Free Willy centering around the friendship of Jesse and Willy are shown. The original VHS copies of Free Willy included the music video prior to the film. The second video from Dangerous: The Short Films contained the full length of MTV's 10th Anniversary special performance intercut with the Dangerous World Tour footage and footage of the fans.) MTV 10th Anniversary 1991 Performance ~ Love this performance specifically mainly because it was MJ’s first performance back since the BAD Era this was his first performance since the Dangerous album being released and these were the first songs he ever performed from the Dangerous Album and yes he was actually crying there at the end 1000% genuine so you could imagine this was almost like a rebirth of himself especially of this point in his career he was no longer a Jehovah’s Witness anymore as well so he got to be more cutting edge during the Dangerous Era.

I actually don't think there is anyone as strong a MJ. After 93 at various award shows, he seemed his normal self. Seemed happy most of the time. Either they didn't affect him or he managed to cover it up very convincingly. He was affected on stage in 93 and you could see it as his Billie Jean was angry. Very angry. Anyway my youth was living through the dangerous era but I defiantly prefer the Bad era. He looked more happy. And during that time he was never off the telly or newspapers etc and it's the MJ I associate with greatness.

Hi honey & brown. Thank you so much for this wonderful double version reaction video. This song is so beautiful and in case you have not seen it, "Will You Be There" is one of Michael's poems he wrote and published in his book "Dancing The Dream". The book not only has his beautifully written stories and poems but it includes lovely pictures in color, many from Bad and Dangerous eras and many from his youth and early performing career. I cherish this book so much because I can feel Michael in his writings as well as we all do when he performs and sings. I believe the poem was written as a prayer to God to protect him from so much tribulation and the hurt he was experiencing from the negativity by much of the media and falsities to bring him down. Michael was alone all his life and hid his pain and inner feelings performing but his music and writings are his soul pouring out his real emotions about life. He was taught to love unconditionally and give all you can - which is what he did. Michael was a very spiritual person and had great faith in God. Michael was only human and did fight till the end. I love his performance in MTV awards so much. It is a performance I included in a video mix I made for this same song last year [Michael Jackson Remembrance June 25 2021] . I hope you check it out and enjoy it. But really this is so sad and beautifully written poem/song - he is so emotional in his live performance of the song. The performance you see in the Free Willy video is from his Dangerous Tour and he included the same ending (sometimes with the angel) with the his vocal speech segment and a child interpreting his words in sign language. Thank you both for sharing your reaction and feelings in this reaction video. I look forward to more reactions of Dangerous album songs - keep up the beautiful work you do and God bless you. Thanks for keeping MJ's legacy and music alive :-) :-) Michael Jackson is forever loved, forever in our hearts and forever innocent :-) :-) ♥♥🙏🙏🥰🥰 Let's all remember him on his 64th birthday coming up Aug 29th. Happy Birthday Michael - Rest in peace forever ✨✨

It's such a beautiful visual and adds a whole new layer to the song and to the music video/live performance. This live performance elevates this masterpiece of a song to higher levels. And the added angel at the end wrapping her wings around Michael is such a wonderful and celestial moment. It's what I imagine happening in heaven right now with Michael. The angels surrounding him and I can imagine Michael singing and entertaining all of the angels! Yeah, true. It doesn't matter what genre Michael is singing, e brings out these dormant emotions within all of us. It's so amazing to witness the emotion we all gather when listening to an MJ song and even more when watching him perform. That's what makes Michael a timeless presence. And how and why his songs are so generational. It transcends its own time and can reach the souls and hearts of listeners throughout the decades. This song is haunting, GOD is the ONE that he is talking to. And yes, he was talking to GOD! Michael wanted someone to be there. Michael is more mature! And you both are right about STRANGER IN MOSCOW!!!! Michael was never afraid of showing who he was, and who he wants to be. I cried through it, he was given his trials and tribulations because JESUS KNEW Michael could get through it!Thank you Honey and Brown may GOD BLESS you! And one more thing, if you want to say GOD say it. There is nothing wrong with that! I know everyone doesn't believe in GOD or Jesus which is GODS' NAME. However if you do, don't be ashamed! Michael always referenced GOD first! And also I am watching this on Michael's 64th Birthday!!!! So again thank you so much!!!

This is truly an emotional and spiritual experience when listening to this masterpiece. It takes me away to a different place. A more tranquil, but, still sad place. This song is just made in a different way compared to the rest of his songs. It's almost like we're experiencing this through MJ's eyes and his soul. We get to truly hear and feel the pain within him. I know we should haha. It's just hard nowadays with people's viewpoint and we don't want to isolate anyone. But, I feel that most people who listen to Michael, typically believe in a higher power. We've just had some negative experiences in the past when we bring up what we believe in. But, thank you so much for giving us the support1 You're such a wonderful and calming soul! So positive and kind! One day, I wish we both could meet a lot of you amazing people! You all have bring so much joy into our lives! Thank you!!!

You should have done the 1992 Bucharest version. He does the sign language at the beginning as well. Such a beautiful song. And such a shame it was written at a time when michael was getting so so much hate. The horrible allegations and people treating him like he was a guilty criminal bevel though there was no proof or evidence of such crimes. It literally seemed no one was in his corner to provide support. And now all these years later after his passing it’s even harder to hear because he should still be here with us. He should have been able to live out his last tour and share it with the world. Edit: well I have to eat my words because you did show her the movie version which all came from the 1992 Bucharest footage.

Your wife’s reaction when you told her it hurts your heart To hear this song and she’s just like, “…ok” lol😂 She has no idea at this point how incredibly beautiful this song is or why it would impact you so much. I find it funny is all not trying to be an a**hole, I just thought her response was funny.

This is honestly so funny! And I think you are the first one who really noticed. It's actually an ongoing thing that we always laughed at when I start editing the video and we noticed what we say about the song. My husband's always the one so deep, so emotional and very philosophical, while on the other hand, I would just say something so shallow! haha~ Thank you for noticing that, we both find it so funny too! lol! -honey
