July 29, 2017 Michael Jordan Flight School MJ shows the kids how to play Around-the-World as Scottie Pippen, Michel Finley, and the kids look on. The Greatest of All Time can still shoot!
The best lesson here... This is the greatest basketball player of all time, and he still misses plenty of shots. Life is about effort and never giving up through the struggle and mistakes, because even the greatest isn't perfect.
Jordan could just sit back and enjoy the fruits of his labour, but the fact he still does this shows the undying passion he has for the game and the enjoyment he gets sharing it and teaching it to others.
@MANCHESTER UNITED F.C alright buddy thats you;re opinion, I may not like soccer then what? like please no one cares that your a big soccer fanboy lol.
@MANCHESTER UNITED F.C sad how soccer has to take 50 years to become national and 80 to become worldwide when basketball did that in half the time lmaoooo
My dad is like that, too. He's 72 and played ball at junior college, but I remember as a kid growing up he could hit any jump shot inside the three point line without needing to warm up. I'd be out there practicing and he'd come home from work and be walking from his car to the house, and he'd ask me to throw him the ball and he'd sink the shot and keep walking into the house without missing a step.
JKirishima 121505 soccer is boring to watch tho its always goals to 3:4 ussual, in basket is points to 100:130 its more fun to watch tho and more fun to play For me i could use my legs for running and jumping, its like doing mma and box i am more into box than mma
I'm 34 and I started watching basketball and the Bulls in particular around '89 (6 years old). My older cousin turned me onto Michael Jordan and to watch him in his prime as a young kid is indescribable. The only thing that I could say to sum up the years I remember watching him from 1989 to 2003 is if you take some person who knows nothing about Michael Jordan or basketball and they watch a game he's playing it's not going to take them 30 seconds to figure out who the best player on the court is. And that statement would be true of every single game he played his entire career. He wasn't a perfect basketball player but he was easily the best of all time. If you blocked a shot or stole the ball from him he would come back ten times harder and embarrass you for even having the gall to play defense.
These kids probably think he's an old fart teaching them basketball and nothing else not knowing he's the greatest basketball player ever. Edit: what i was trying to say was they are too young to actually recognize or appreciate his accomplishments and presence as an adult would.
LuckySeven Most people who know nothing about basketball know he’s the GOAT so I’m sure they know who he is lol. Kids fight over his shoes even though they’ve never seen him play. His legacy is just as strong today as it was 10 years ago.
Mike and I are close to the same age, so I remember when he left college and entered the NBA, until he retired. What I remembered most is when teams could not find a way to stop him. They tried putting up to three defenders on him, and he would still defy the law of gravity by flying through the air...Amazing!!!
I was in the Marines and overseas when Mike and the Bulls were running the NBA and man, the things Mike did on that court were UNreal. I still remember seeing him dunk a ball and literally FLYING almost parallel to the floor for a few seconds. And his accuracy and handles especially teamed up with Rodman was just too sick to see. Legend
Sad to think every one of those kids missed out on this legend..actually they missed out on a legendary era....the NBA is NOTHING like it was when MJ played and that is a fact
Fuck you dumbass Steph may be a good shooter but he is the biggest crybaby and Lebron James is the biggest cheater next to Barry bonds. James takes a steroid to give him his size and stamina that's a a fact but nobody says anything about that please you have no clue this generation could not hold a candle to the likes of Michel Jordon magic Johnson larry Bird Hawkemm the dream Alijawon Carl Malone John Stockton Tim Dunkin Ralph Sampson. These young athletes today have no respect for others or their respective sport's all they care about is money and themselves. That's why there will never be another MJ because Michael Jordan did more for basketball and life for so many people including myself when you look up greatness in the dictionary it should have MJ right next to it
brother here in Philippines because of Michael Jordan woman here dream black man to have a kids in NBA like my sister she like black man to have black kids in NBA someday
brother here in Philippines because of Michael Jordan woman here dream black man to have a kids in NBA like my sister she like black man to have black kids in NBA someday
@@ezz7467 He's saying black people are better at basketball, so his sister married and had kids with a black man with the hope that her children, being half-black would have a better shot at playing in the NBA.
Sughi_Bughi_ 936 I live in Japan. Many years back, MJ was on this TV show where they challenge sports stars to complete these crazy challenges.Anyway, for the challenge, the backboard had 9 baskets, 3 lined on top, 3 just below them, and then 3 below them. All of them were closed at the bottom so the ball would land and rest there. Oh, and the baskets weren’t straight side by side, they were staggered. Make all 9, win 10,000 dollars. MJ steps up, and shows why he’s Michael Fucking Jordan, my friends!!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c73PctQ95LY.html
Dammmmnnnnn, this 50+ yr old MJ still sharp at shooting. Never mind not getting him run a crossover and dig inside 7feet guards. He can certainly sink the enemy's ship using his perimeter shots alone. Real badass and GOAT!
Come on he isn't even close to being able to average even 4 pts in the NBA now. Let him enjoy his retirement he has already proved to be the greatest 2 gaurd ever.
I already had a lot of respect for jordan because of the way he used to play the game but the fact that he takes some his time to share some knowledge to these kids makes me respect him even more because he doesn’t even have to do that. 👊🏿🐐
@@orange_cat steph curry is one of the greatest but claiming he is up there with MJ is crazy man, either u are a hardcore biased warriors fan or u 15 or something
@@orange_cat yeah I cant argue with that one, LeBron is one of the most boring players to watch....all he does is the same tomahawk dunk and occasionally some good passes....curry is way more entertaining
When he missed and then made it, sending the crowd into an uproar... you could see a glimpse of the fire that Jordan used to feed off, slowly growing in his mind
I'm 42. I watched MJ my whole life. I remember he had us so trained by the peak of his career that we'd be down like 20 going into the 4th and no one was worried. That's greatness.
everyone who grew up with mj would understand why we call him our HERO. coz he 'inspires' most of basketball fans to play basketball. back in the old days, everyone wants to be like Michael Jordan. the level of his presence was insanely diff to any player. iconic, role model of basketbal, Legend and the true GOAT.
Thanks Jeff for share this another year! Hope MJ plays one on one with the campers and you can record it. Appreciate! Will follow every content about Jordan you post
Believe it or not, he picked me to shoot the free this year for our kids. Talk about pressure! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZcvMpMQxxPI.html
I was sad when he retired but I was like under a spell as I had to watch him play every game possible. I got to see him 3 times in person and I am happy with that..... :)))
no , he also misses a lot, but what makes him excel is that that he overcome his missed shots in his personal practice sessions , before playing again , he is ready not to miss
MJ has so much charisma and charm for the game its palpable and wavy and fluid and so so real... and his intense connection with the crowd.... another level... above my eyeballs..
@@crimson1931 well yes but not at this kind of body.... Kobe was still fit af I can only imagine a 50 yrold Kobe doing clinics and that it might be like this
I just want to shut out to that kiddoz who is that legend teaching them how to how to play bb smoothly ,and for me that experience on that kiddoz that was a great pleasure for me and that experience, I will that in my life forever
Although he is busy..he still manage to teach the game he loves.. and those kids maybe dont even know him.. thanks mike for the memories..the LEGEND..the TRUE KING and the GOAT period
Originally, he can still play well. It's good to watch his performance at his age of 54, and I hope there will be more videos on his performance in this year: 1 on 1 series are the most exciting part for me; team play is a good choice as well.
After all these years Jordan still has charisma. That's what really stuck out for me on court play along with off Court. It's very rare today can't find it. Jordan will always be the goat. He brought basketball to what it was today. Only takes one person to tear it down.
