At 1:04 the exposed aileron servos (currently the norm) looks very untidy to me. I would have mounted the servo fully in the wing and have made flush covers for the servo and horns. My pattern planes in the eighties used one servo for both ailerons and I never felt like this was inadequate. I'm glad you didn't have rudder and elevator servos exposed at the back of the plane. THAT nasty thrend really set back the hobby IMHO. I do think you have done a spectacular build job. I can't wait to see it fly. Retracted wheels are SO sexy on a pattern plane. I have always liked the Blue Angel pattern plane but your Aurora is really pretty too.
I agreed. Especially for class pattern plane. Thanks for the good words ! I would consider hiding them in this restoring work. Hopefully I can get the whole job done this summer and fly it again soon.
