@@DubsMood Yeah vocals are way too far back. I think they're definitely built to SIT in the mix and not be front and center like most modern pop but the live sound makes it sit too far back to the point where you are kind of straining to hear anything he says.

It's definitely reproducible, he's often running a very simple pedal board. The main thing that accomplishes the sound is running the guitar through an old 4-track mixer. I love his sound but there isn't some otherworldly 'organic' source - just some really smart equipment choices! :)

Pretty much. He’s very reminiscent of the 80’s vapor wave pop and the album is largely atmospheric, bedroom pop aesthetics. I personally love it, but I can see it being hit or miss got some people. Some of his earlier stuff has more prominent vocals but he’s kind of always put more focus into production
