Quite hypocritical of him But I guess in his mind, he did not betray his Realm Just the Royal family and dishonored his own In Shao mind, Sub-Zero betrayed family, the realm AND others just because of his own ambition Still, some pot meeting the kettle .
@@cesaroyola5902he even replaced bi Han himself as a jobber also imagine telling an mk fan that kitana and Shao Kahn are jobbers while baraka and reptile are main characters
In comparison between the two, Shao saw sindel as an unfit ruler, bending the knee to lui kang and making Outworld a laughing stock to him, he wants outworld to gain a stronger leader to turn outworld into a place where they are all respected, he doesn’t believe his actions are at fault, he believes he’s working for the betterment of everyone in outworld, while Bi-han, simply wants power, to rule over earthrealm instead of lui kang, for the lin kuei to sit at the top of the world as the leader of it all, betraying his father to become the grandmaster, betraying his brother to wield an unstoppable army, betraying lui kang by turning the Lin kuei against him
I think he talks being a traitor to his family. Bi Han literally kill or let his father die and also he is the one who give his own brother a scar for life to the eye. But unlike Bi Han, Shao actually quite close to his family. In one of the intro he even admit all his brother is as strong as him and he also try to keep his father legacy by making Outworld better even though he using a wrong way to achieve it by betray the Royal Family because he think Sindel is unfit to rule Outworld.
For those that don’t know, this version of Bi-Han never went through the events of Mythologies so it makes sense he became the way he is. Had he experienced mythologies he be good or least neutral-good
@umarelimbaev02 TL;DR version at the bottom MK: Mythologies is a prequel to OGMK where Sub-Zero steals a treasured medallion for Quan Chi from Raiden's tower because his grandmaster ordered it. This is where he kills human Scorpion as he was tasked with the same mission and succeeds in his own. However he learns from Raiden himself that he unintentionally doomed them all to ruin so he ventures back to Outworld to steal it back from Quan Chi. In the process he finds friendship with Sareena and learns to think for himself. TL;DR version. A mission Subzero goes on before OGMK teaches him the meaning of friendship, humility, and the importance of thinking for himself.
@@jxlennnI swear Bi Han is the most misunderstood character in all of MK people don’t realize he wasn’t evil in past timelines this is the first timeline where he’s a bad guy. People think Kaui was a saint in previous timelines when he was an assassin just like Bi Han. I don’t even think Noob Saibot was power hungry evil yes but not power hungry he just wanted to form his own clan but he definitely was evil but that was because of Quan Chi not because of his own volition.
I still don't get it how Bi-Han is responsible for her death. He did absolutely nothing for the rebellion. He did absolutely nothing for titan Shang Tsung. He has, like, nothing to do with this timeline's Sindel's death.
@@monsus8153It’s not that fact that he was responsible because like you said, he’s not. It’s more so just the fact that he betrayed Earthrealm and was on there side when Sindel was killed
@@derpyderp7444 , yeah, but Mileena and Kitana barely hate Havik, although he was with the rebellion the whole time. I guess Dominic is just bad at writing, idk.
If any character is being set up that way, it's Rain. Only one on the villain's side who is unquestionably repentant/sorry for what he's done, even if he lowkey wants to get off the hook easier than he deserves
I'd say faster, not easier. He did say he would accept any punishment and atonement, hoping to be forgiven one day. Faster isn't much better than easier, but I still give him the benefit of the doubt.
He regrets it because he didn't get his way in the end, which is more commendable than Rain's "woe is me" act. Bi-Han knows he's a piece of shit still and will kill Scorpion and Smoke on sight
The reason why Bi Han hates his brother is that Bi Han considers his brother a traitor because he doesn''t appreciate Bi Han''s principles of leading the Lin Kuei clan respecting their father''s way of leading and being the protector of the earthrealm. The fact that Bi Han han wants to dominate the clan by following his own principles also causes confusion, and when Shang Tsung offered this, it happened as an old proverb says, pride goes before a fall, so it happened to Bi Han. Bi Han accuses Liu Kang that his brother has turned against him even though Bi Han himself is to blame all along. In addition, the relationship between the brothers is strained by Bi Han''s confession to his brother about their father''s death, all this leads to Kuai Liang having to flee from his brother''s anger as he swears revenge and his brother''s blood! 🩸🩸🤜🤛🤜🤛⚔️⚔️⚔️
@@frozezone2947I think Rain was already redeemed, judging by his intro dialogues. I don't recall when it happened in the game exactly, but hopefully we will get to see something in the aftermath.
I want Bi-Han to remain as Sub-Zero in the current timeline. Kuai Liang already had his time as Sub-Zero, and now it's time for his older brother to have his, especially since Bi-Han had a deeper, more enigmatic personality. Noob Saibot is cool, but I love Bi-Han as Sub-Zero more. If they did make Bi-Han Noob in this timeline, I don't want him to turn into an evil version of himself. He could be like Full Potential Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader where he could master both his light and dark side; Bi-Han could be both Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot at the same time, having both Ice and Darkness as his powers.
@Green.Guy.2187 , I don't really get what you're talking about, but oh well. I still believe Bi-Han can be redeemed. Some of his intros show him regretting his trust towards Shang Tsung, realizing Shang took advantage of his vulnerability that stemmed from his frustrations. Shang manipulated him into thinking they both shared similar problems. Bi-Han thought Shang had sympathetic reasons like him, but didn't realize in time that he was not like him. There are also intros where he apologized for being indirectly involved in Sindel's death (including the fact that he indirectly betrayed both Earthrealm and Outworld) and that when he trusted Shang, Shao, and Quan Chi, he earned nothing. Bi-Han tried so hard but didn't realize it would lead to him making problems for himself. Bi-Han essentially made an honest mistake. Ashrah even states in one of her intros that Bi-Han is capable of redemption. I also hope Bi-Han and Sareena end up together in the current timeline.
And his heart is dedicated for his clan's glory.that's why he doesn't hesitate to be a @$$hole (because of his offensive and selfish actions harms others like kuai liang and many more).
@@gabrielacosta9470 I still think he has more issues with authority as he let his father die to get the Grandmaster status and couldn't stand being Liu Kang's paid actor.
This dude is not a villain, simply someone who seeks the best for his people, his clan. Unfortunately he does so by following the wrong path due to his own traumas and frustrations. Furthermore, he is not so wrong when it bothers him that all the power is concentrated in a single person, in that he is right, it is not prudent. He was also willing to share his power with Kuai Liang if he decided to support him and also tells Sindel that he is not interested in the throne, he just wants a part of Earthrealm. He's nothing like Shao or Shang Tsung.
So he still is technically power hungry, but not in a way that he wants ALL the power, just enough for it to equal out and be fair so no one is just a simple follower who hasn't been given their own choice on who to follow
Will Bi-Han find redemption? Or is it lil too late for the cryomancer as he'll go down a dark path of becoming noob saibot like previous timelines? Will see.
I get the feeling that it's probably going to be an alternate noob saibot that seals the nail for his redemption ark I mean who wouldn't want to change their ways after seeing an undead revenant version of themselves
So weird how Shang Tsung and Bi Han look similar to each other, like as if they're brothers. The moment I saw Shang Tsung, I couldn't unsee it. They should've went with his MK11 look. Honestly, I think they gotta stop with the face changing entirely since MKX. I get it with the new graphics with the older games and stuff, but right now, it's really not that necessary. I liked it, for example, more how they had Raiden in MKX, it was totally fitting his character as a Chinese guy and now he looks like a Bulgarian or something.
Had he known about Shang Tsung's experiments, yes actually his opinions would be different, but so would him going through the events of Mythologies Sub Zero, but instead of Quan Chi recruiting him, it could've been someone within the lin kuei who wanted the amulet of shinnok
It makes sense with Sindel because 1. She had absolutely nothing with his plans and 2. It seems like this Bi-Han has a softer spot for women(more so mother figures) because I noticed his interactions are not that aggressive towards any of them. He also held his tongue alot more with Madame Bo. So any way yeah it makes sense he would feel bad in general though if someone unrelated to him got hurt from his plans.
I really hope they either give him a redemption arc or he goes his own way and becomes somewhat of a lone wolf character, tragic as it may be. If they wanna make him a villain still thatd be cool, but the story mode painted him too much as a overly cloche edgy bad dude. Hes got potential to be much more and I only hope they do something with him.
It’s Not Regretting his Mistakes, more like Bi-Han is Cutting People Out of His Life if they Betray Him and doesn’t have his Main Goal, Power and Control.
Bi-Han actually feeling bad about Sindel's death is a new thing. Seems even he can feel some measure of regret for his actions, a BIG contrast to Bi-Han of the old timeline
This game fucking took a shit on Bi-Han’s character. Completely assassinated his character. He was never power hungry before his corruption. He was a bad person but not evil. He was a child assassin who only knew violence & death. That’s why there is sadness in his eyes when he’s told his soul is tainted with evil. Thats why he’s shocked to learn about that from Quan Chi. Raiden tells him he can redeem himself & he looks to redeem himself by seeking retirement. He takes the job because running from a clan like the Lin Kuei is dangerous & you need money to run away. He also cared about his brother as his Deception ending says that if he wasn’t corrupted, he would have been proud of Kuai. People also bring up how Hanzo differentiated the two brothers by Kuai sparing someone but this isn’t a difference between the two since Sareena’s appearances in later games is due to Bi-Han sparing her. Him sparing Sareena is even what spurs her redemption quest. People also bring up Ashrah’s ending but that ending just goes off the idea that his soul is tainted. It also contradicts Mythologies (the canon game) as he did not want to stay in the Netherrealm. He flat out refused to join Quan Chi.
Hopefully they let the Scorp and Sub rival take a break and have both brothers fight alongside each other again. Just ave Bi Han realized he made a **** up, both letting his father die and let the power go to his head.
For as much of a little bitch Bi-Han is (at least currently, redemption arc maybe), he seems to have retained some small semblance of compassion in him. Bi-Han was genuine when he said that Sindel's death was regrettable. You can hear it in his voice and see it in his facial expression and the minute ways it changes. Perhaps Bi-Han didn't really care so much that Sindel died, but moreso had sympathy for Kitana and Mileena, because he knows what its like to loose a beloved mother. A small remnant of humanity in an otherwise cold heart. Bi-Han recognizes the pain that has cause the twins and holds some compassion for their plight.
Talk all the shit you want about general shao. He is an improvement character wise than shao khan, general shao is a deeper character with an admirable personal code. Shao Khan is just a petty villain.
