Really helpful video - thanks! I have a 91 Turbo that I am re-assembling so will be watching all your videos I'm sure. Question: where did you get the oil cooler hoses you used? In the manual they are "No 1 oil cooler hose" and "No 2 oil cooler hose". Thanks!
One thing I'd do (which I didn't do myself! Made my life harder lmao), is take measurements of the inner and outer tie rods on both sides while everything is still in the car and your steering wheel is centered. Make note of that (especially if you remove the outer tie rod, that'll affect your alignment the most. Just mark the spots and count how many revolutions it took to remove it). Before you install the rack, make sure those measurements are close to what you wrote down. If that's not an option, the easiest thing to do is to make sure the inner tie rods are the same length on each side. You'll notice if the boots are even or not. You can then install it, attach the steering column on it. After, you can adjust the outer tie rods. To make it as even as possible, just count how many revolutions you did while putting them on, and do the same to the other side. That will get you at least in the right ballpark so everything is even. Then you can make fine adjustments to the outer tie rods so your wheels are straight enough (adjusting the "toe") to bring the car to an alignment shop. It's VERY tedious to do, but it can be done. There's some videos on how to adjust toe, you can look those up so you can get an idea of what you need to do. Hope this helps!
