My mk 4 Focus ST-line is now out of warranty. Since the purchase of the car I had intended to modify the car to release the de-tuned power.,
The 1.5L 3 cylinder turbo engine is fitted in a range of ford vehicles, and is rated at 200hp in the top spec cars.
To start this upgrade path, I am fitting the mountune performance air filter.

Any further update? I'm thinking of purchasing an air filter or induction kit.

I will be doing an update video when I return to the channel which should not be much longer. I’d go for it, even on the stock car the replacement panel filter makes a difference. It definitely pulls harder over stock. The induction kit, will definitely make more noise, maybe add negligible power over the panel filter. Simple upgrade that you won’t regret, and is the gateway to further mods that make a big difference.

@HlspwnsWorld Gateway... exactly what I'm worried about lol. I've ordered a K&N panel filter for now, that'll do for the 2.3 ST for now.

@@teamtempest844 The M330 upgrade would complement that filter nicely. Forgo the power figure, it’s the torque that makes all the difference. When your with general traffic it will actually save fuel.

@HlspwnsWorld Strange you've just sent me a message... Amazon said Wednesday... but the filter arrived today. Just fitted it, now my testosterone levels have increased, it sounds great! (installed a K&N panel filter!). I may put filters in a couple of motorbikes I have too. As for the kit... maybe soon, not sure yet. Heard about the 330 kit, good for the immobiliser / security too I've heard.

Thanks for the clear and easy to follow video. What did the filter add to your insurance premiums if you don't mind me asking? I can't imagine much given you're just replacing an air filter while keeping everything else around it to standard.
