MK7 GTI Overheating / Coolant Problems | AskDap 

Hi i have vw mk7 gti 2015 the is jacking going on limp mod using too much fuel what can cause?

My mk7 gti has a problem on turning on fan when the engine is cold.and I had my coolant sensor changed

I have a 2019 gti and it seemed to run quickly and consistently during the winter, however during the summer whenever I floor it once I get to 3,000 rpm the turbo starts to sputter/ surge (yes I mean compressor surge). It also does not put out the power that it normally does. this only happens on days that are 65° and above. FYI I am at 5,900ft altitude. Could an inter cooler solve this issue?

Hi, I currently have a MQB EA888 GEN3 1.8T with a IS38 turbo and full bolt on, stage 3+ ECU/TCU, me and my team were wondering if it´s possible to forge the engine and make it 2.0. Can we use 2.0 ea888 parts in the 1.8 block? Or do we have to purchase a 2.0 long block, ECU, etc... Thanks!

How about P00b7. Shit is driving me nuts. It comes and goes throughout the year. Always puts it in limp mode. It's not overheating or leaking. It almost always goes away after I stop the car and power cycle it.

Hello, can you help me, I have mk7 gti 2014, I have a worm start problems. If I drive and stop for 10 minutes and then I want start the engine again, it starts very difficult or not star from the first attempt.

I have an issue of course....lol so i was cruising to the store perfectly fine, stopped then went to go again and i didnt have any power! Shifted up to park then back to drive and i was able to get going perfectly fine, tryed to hurry up and get back home and lost power again for a split second but made it safely, checked under the hood and it looks like maybe a hose busted on me. No low coolant light on, however the resevoir is slightly under minimum spec. Looks like its coming from possibly a radiator hose, i cant really see tho because the actual leak is covered up by everything. Any ideas on what else it could be so i could be on the look out for those issues? Have about 104k miles. Dont drive it too hard for these reasons smh 😂

I have a mk7 it’s getting hot if I idle to long and pushes water out of the reservoir tank there’s no coolant in the oil no white smoke what could cause the water to be pushed out

My Gti is overheating very quickly, I recently change the water pump with the thermostat, not even 1 month, have the same low flow coolant code and the APC light come up, low power under 4000 rpm limited

The most stupid car I swear , prior to my mk7 I had lexus gs and all the dashboard lights were on from check engine to vfs vgrs abs and drove it for 7yrs with malfunctions sold it cuz got sick of it 7yrs were enough, tried mk7 it was nice & smooth for a whole year then all fuckery started during summer time yo get rid of it & get me more reliable car thinking mustang ecoboost

had the exact same problem with my gti p00b7 low coolant flow and p2681 coolant valve open turned out to be a bad thermostat
