Thanks for the videos. I'm guessing that you probably wouldn't get a code come up if the filter housing was the problem, is that correct ? I've got a fuel pump code on my Mk6 but really want to rule out anything else that could be the problem.

Do the 2.2 euro 5s suffer with fuel filter housing aswell?

hi there andy replaced my fuel filter but got air stuck in the system how to install bleed it ?

great video. Can you give any advise on my mk 8 transit. as nobody can find the problem not even fords. Mine is a 2016 no issue with starting from cold or even hot sometimes. I can go for a drive turn it off then come back say 5 mins later and it will be a hit or miss if it starts. it will crank over but will not start or it seems like the battery is going to die. leave it for say 5 mins and it will start.

I've got a problem with my exact same van . It starts first time and runs sweet. But when i give it some revs whilst driving it will rattle a die and leave me stranded. Got a lift back from the AA and they sent a machanic along. Before he came i Tried the van and it started instantly. I don't want to be stranded again as I've already lost a days money. I've done what you said and the filter was full ( there a pain to force back in the housing) i also fitted an aftermarket fuel bleed pump which is brilliant. Some people say on here that it most likely the fuel regulator on the end of the pump? I don't want to chuck money at it all the time so do you have any information that would help me out ? I live in the sticks so its a journey to take to a garage and there too expensive these days . Probably charge me £400 just to change this £70 part . Guy on RU-vid said this part needs to be coded to the van ? Never heard that before only on keys and shit . Thanks.
