Leo shows how incredibly strong Byleth's advantage state is. Like Ronnichu is often holding it even at neutral, but Leo just murders him when Ronnichu goes to disadvantage.

@Master Shifu snake will die going low against Byleth too, because of his edge guarding with bair/fair

yeah going low would've been a much better bet because cypher offers a little protection from the down-air and might be able to armor through the fair. most importantly though, it would force leo to take a risk. he was getting the up-b's for free and there was no risk of him falling too far to make it back the way snake just kept going high

@@NVS_Snake i checked the numbers, and yeah you're mostly right. Snake will get hit out of cypher by sweet or sourspot fair, and early bair. He can only armor through once-staled sour fair and late bair

Yeah, then you try to recover low and Byleth spikes you with down air or smacks your Cypher away and you have no choice but plummet to your doom.

Snake's low recovery is notoriously bad, especially against a heavy hitter like Byleth who can beat Cypher armor, if not the Cypher itself.
