@@brandonmcconkey I appreciate your info! How does the trans hold up after 500+ tq? I heard the transmission slips or it doesn't like anything over 500 torque. Is that true?
@@ulidiaz463 So on the stock turbo setup we made 545 hp and 675lbs of torque and it didn’t have any signs of slipping, and we ran that for about a year and a half. Once we added a larger turbo and port injection we gained a ton of HP but kept torque right about the same to try to prevent trans slip, but it still slipped pretty bad. So I think it has more to do with where the torque is in the RPMs. On the stock turbo peak torque was at like 3-4k then drops off hard, and on the bigger turbo peak torque is later in the RPMs and doesn’t drop as fast. So when the trans tried to shift its doing so in a lot more torque.
@@brandonmcconkey okay I get you. Makes sense. Depends on who tunes the vehicle and what not Im assuming too. Great numbers you are doing man! Im going for FBO E50 for now. You think that will get me to atleast 480+ whp?
