Watching Tom playing GM Sub is like watching a physics professor at work. Every ice clone is placed so precise, leading into optimal damage conversions
Robert Korkidas He does small things really well that most subs dont do (mostly because mu knowledge) Like in this matchup whenever he got a knock down in the corner he back dashed then cloned to deal with armored spin. Most sub zeros just commit to clone right on top of him. He understood that the final acting frames of kung jins armored spin on wake up loses its armor on the last acting frames of the move. and as you saw above, he just spun right into clones because of it. Now i can see why you dont think hes doing much but thats just his style of play though. Hes a very lame, space control footsie fanatic. Its his spacing that separates him from most sub zeros currently out there. watch closely, and you will learn why he is one of the good players out there.
Zay Arts Oh that variation doesn't have as many arrow attacks? I thought I was being naive by only using the ancestral variation, but the arrows help make this character so fun and interesting. I guess this one just has more damage.
Brady didn't jail him up cuz every opportunity he had, Slayer had meter to burn. Mad props for Brady. His sub is looking fresh. Recently he bodied CDJR 10-1 Sub-Jax
Fábio Campelo It was at Paradise Lost. And believe it or not it's true, Brady decisively took the game. On the contrary it was CdJr's FIRST time ever playing against Sub-Zero and thus he payed the price. Even so, CdJr adapted later in the game.
Alarmingly Fast Moving Skeleton Yeah, thats how it was when i played a Jacqueline player about a week ago. I had no clue what her high's and low's were, and to top it off, this player main'd her and was damn good with her too. And when i started adapting to his/her mix ups a couple of matches later, he/she started playing keep away which is so damn annoying because i don't like using meter to amor through unless i know for certain i can keep close.
I came here to see some Sub-Zero and wasn't disappointed. How the F* he landed a clone in the middle of a combo and in close range? Tom Brady is a genius on MK.
Don't get me wrong, it looks like sub zero it's the same bad constrained character, as in MK9 or worst. The game is practically new, and I'm not crying out in Brady's favor, I still feel the character does not has the tools to compete in a major. KJ is a great character but it feels OP vs many other characters (and I'M NOT trying to take away anything from Slayer, he's not only performing complex combos, he's using tech). I hope this time instead of nerfing we get buff. But it wont happen.
Agreed with that. I understand everybody point, but lets put it like, this: A true TOP character is going to have the tools against any other character. In MK9 Kabal/KL and few others can have a bad matchup, but they have the tools to beat anyone in the roster. The learning curve can be complicated (skill/or tech based); but in either case, a top character must have the tools, to adjust to any style of fighter and give a fight, not necessary pick a win. In some way the competitive scene is based in play to win - just recall mk9 how many KL/Kabal where TOP 8 or tournament winners - or a safe bet on character selection, besides Brady; how many Sub-Zeros are in? Again the game is practically new, I just hope this time around we get a balanced game. And if some of you have had a bad moment against SZ just hope you can boost you tech up.
Completely agree with you man. Boon must really hate sub zero lol do you see the cool down on his unbreakable variation lol he's almost as bad as he was in mk9 all they did was take subs existing moves and separated them lol made no effort once so ever I main subs my self sub is once again low tier
Kenshi MK Ten like i said hate Ed not the players, if you CANT handle it well thats YOUR porb not the Jin players, first was Scorpion now Jin LOL idiots that wen they loose they call the OP and cry
Kenshi MK Ten that guy doesn't know what he is talking about, he is just "one of those" besides his face speaks for himself, ugly dumb fuck lol I'm sure he will come back and reply to this because ugly dumb fucks need the last word
I don't mean to take anything away from Slayer because he's a great player and we all know this, but seriously... Kung Jin is ridiculous. His damage is massive (35% meterless easily and around 45% 1 bar midscreen), he gets full combo conversions from shit like anti-air D1 (seriously, a full fucking combo for nearly 30%), he has A SAFE 50/50 LMAO (this is completely unfair no matter how you look at it), a stupid divekick that can be done jumping back making whiff punishing anything at all stupid easy, a safe two hitting normal that beats out almost every armoured wakeup (yeah, this is a thing), and incredible range on most things he does. He's pretty ridiculous. No wonder 60% of NWM games involved a Kung Jin. I guess PL and CDJR were right all along.
***** Scorpion is the best character in the game, but his skill level is a lot higher than Kung Jin and Scorpion's damage isn't as ridiculous off of BnB's. Kung Jin is easy and effective, Scorpion is slightly difficult and effective.
Scorpion? Best character in the game???i don't see that at all. A lot of people playing scorpion use all the same combos and start off the same, I've seen people play raiden very well, error black is my go to, I've seen people play Tanya very well. Whenever you invest a lot of time in a character and how they work you'll play them well but scorpion. The best? Opinion
Robert Korkidas Two months ago when I posted my comment Scorpion was the best, but since you didn't check the date you typed up a completely irrelevant comment.
I might get hate for this but idgaf. I don't think Brady is the best Sub Zero. Every fight I watch he is passive af. Not saying I'm the best but shit be aggressive then set your traps when they think it's safe to attack
