@@tristanlopez7644 if it gives you any solace, the cheating wasn’t found to be very effective as the astros had better numbers on the road in 2017. Also plenty of other teams were cheating as well and not punished at all.

Agree with you, this easily could be one of the greatest games of all time but when you realize that the Astros were cheating it loses the charm.

Ben Schneiderheinze Game 7 was everything you ever want a game 7 to be as a baseball fan. Had this been a game 7 I think you have an argument for it being number 1.

Corey Wilson I agree that Game 7 does have more riding on it, as it is the all-deciding game to end the year. However, this series is titled top 10 Games, not top 10 Most Important or Most Pivotal Games. As far as the quality of just the game itself, as the title implies, I would put this game slightly over 2016 Game 7.

Gough Psmythe a quote from EXE-Edits from one of the other countdown videos: “Games are ranked based on the impact they had on the series, postseason hopes, or just excitement.” It’s not exact, but it shows that he ranked them not only on the game, but the impact it had.

You can like whatever game you want, thats the beauty of baseball. As the title implies, its number 2, for a reason. The game had everyone on the edge of their seats. That chris taylor at bat to tie it, was one of the best at bats I've seen in the last 30 years. Neutral, non biased fans know this list was pretty darn accurate. Kudos to whoever made this list. I know we all were excited to watch the videos

Gough Psmythe You can't get a whole lot better as far as how enjoyable a game was to watch than this game. However, watching Cubs Indians game 7 was such a nailbiting thriller for the ages regardless of who you were rooting for. It was not just any game 7 since it came after a huge comeback for the Cubs to force a game 7 after being counted out down 3-1, and it was the Cubs breaking the curse. All of that combined with an exciting charge by the Indians to break the Cubs hearts in the 8th, and the Cubs finally sealing the deal in extras made for probably the most memorable baseball game in history.

All the reports, research, interviews, investigations, etc. have proven the Astros didn't cheat during the WS, but people are free to make up their own opinion despite facts.

I never thought i would see a game come close to being as exciting as 2016 ws game 7... but this was damn close, and im sure for ‘stros or dodgers fans was better... i lost it when taylor tied the game in the 9th

i feel the same way. i was up on my feet for pretty much every game of this series it was so exciting. now it all just feels so wrong.

Erik Jeong it was terrible long before that. The juiced balls made this game a joke. The hrs that were hit are laughable. Puig’s, Bellinger’s, Correa’s. They barely hit the ball and it just flew out🤣.

I think the Astros were legitimately talented but I have serious doubts they’d win this World Series without cheating

think about what the score would have been if the Astros weren't obviously cheating. The Dodgers would have destroyed them in this game. Kershaw got 0 swings and misses on his curveball this game, that's absurd especially after the way he pitched in game 1.

The funny thing is Dodgers didn't notice their cheat. Probably, there must be an intangible sense and perception that only baseball men could detect, but they didn't catch it.

This was more emotional than the cubs game. And this wasn't even game 7. Astros haven't won a ws before this. We had Harvey hit 2 months before. Last game of the series in Houston. We were underdogs. We had to comeback multiple times. I sure felt some very low lows in that game and the highest of highs. And that Homerun in extras from the cubs, Correa's was just as emotional. This was more action packed too. On a school night I stayed up all night celebrating. This game was insanely emotional and action packed and I was part of that huge celebration during game 5 at the stadium and during the game 7 watch party.
