We are always in turmoil, I still would rather live here then 99% of the world. Having lived aboard for half my life there is truly no place like home.
@@Chris_Spoodly it means that they love the mascots and they are thanking them for putting a smile on their face and that's what makes this country great -good grief

I was the school mascot (well alternate) at my high school. Lakewood Tigers lol! I only got to do one football game but it was magical lol. I was an unknown freshman and all of a sudden I got the whole crowd going. It was a weird wonderful power.
My best friend worked at A&W around 35 years ago or so. Anyway, he had to dress up as the A&W mascot for a day to entertain kids in the store and he said it was such an uncomfortable experience. He was in his boxers only and still roasting. Haha. This was before most of those costumes had fans and other cooling mechanisms in them(or heating depending on time of year/state/province). Man, he and I have come a long way since. I wish we could go back and spend just a moment or two doing the things we did back then. Sorry about the long message, everything triggers a story from me. Yea, I'm THAT guy. 😸
This is SO AMAZING to see, people interacting with each other, making the game a reason to unite and joy altogether is so shocking for me, because were I live (Argentina) we see sports and the game itself as a reason to dispute and be against each other and the stadiums always have war vibes when it's showtime. It almost every time it ends up in riots, especially when the big teams play.
