Should have included the Stephen Piscotty trifecta: In the same path around the bases, hit by pitch, hit by catcher's throw stealing 2B, and hit by throw coming home to score.
Kinda disappointed, but what it is, is what it is. Ball girls are good to watch, and Harry Carey is fun to join in with in the seventh inning stretch. Thanks for the Vid!
It's *truly* amazing how many camera angles we can get in this day and age of baseballs hitting dudes in the balls. Player: _gets smacked in the boys_ Director: _Ok camera 1,2,3,12,45,102, make sure to zoom in on the players' ball sack and camera 18 - make sure you're getting slow motion_
My dad was umping my middle school baseball team (I’m manager not a player, he was couch but we couldn’t get an ump) and ge didn’t have a helmet on only a baseball hat cause he won’t let any player on are team on the field to play if they don’t have a hat, but the ball hit him square in the forehead he hasn’t gone out with out a helmet since
Having played baseball many years myself as a catcher, I can tell you, getting hit by baseballs ranges from barely feel it to surprisingly painful. It all depends on where you get hit, even a slightly different place on the arm can have different results.
In HS I would pitch and throw to first when there was an opposing player I didn't like and just nail him center mass so the ball didn't bounce anywhere. Pitchers have a lot of power on the mound.
One hugh thing I am seeing with all baseball teams when a player is hurt or has been hurt no one is running to help their teammate they are not ever reacting all players act like they do not and have never cared about anyone except them selves very very horriffic scary sad and pathetic. !!!!!
