I miss Barry, I worked at AT&T Park in 2007, his last season, and I'm proud to say I saw almost every one of his home games that year. I certainly hope he is accepted back into the club one of these days, and I wish Lance Armstrong be given back his medals. These men may have had an edge but drugs and steroids have been widely used in sports for decades. Barry and Lance have contributed to their respective sports more so than any of the Anti-Doping critics ever will.

Barry Bonds is the best on or off steroids. Baseball should have stopped Sosa and McGwire they were taken Barry's light!

Barry Bonds holds most of the records for intentional walks, including four in a nine-inning game (2004), 120 in a season (2004),[1] and 668 in his career (more than the next two players on the all-time list, Hank Aaron and Willie McCovey, combined).[2]-wikipedia. Thats how scary barry bonds was! So don't compare babe ruth, or anybody else to him please. Cause they actually pitched to those people

barry is the greatest hitter of all time. even if thats arguable, hes the most feared and considering all the people that took steroids thats saying a lot.

They should hire him. Barry has the most perfect swing ever. If he teaches guys like pablo sandoval, posey, belt , and the other "power " hitters on the team. There offense would boost dramatically

Barry Bonds is a great hitter. Period. Hopefully this will all pass and he'll become a part of the Giants organization since he brought a lot of great memories. Pre-steroids (although we still don't know till this very day if he has done it) he was already a hall of famer.

I can See why people would have a problem with it but really an truly it's not like his tips will come with a Steroid Starter kit

currently yes, but i'm not making an assumption. are you old enough to remember the mitchell report? they didn't publicly release all its findings, but they admitted that as well as a few first-hand witnesses and players. why should there be a difference between juicing a little and a lot? my point is, ban everyone or ban no one.

Albert Pujols Is One He Hit 49 In 2006 And 42 And 2010 Pujols Is The Only One Capable Of Doing It

His stats are mind boggling but he's been that lone wolf type player playing for self not really helping the rookies find their swing he never really became that veteran players rookies could go to for help with mechanics

I know that Pre-Steroids he was a HOFer, but the steroids DID happen. Anybody that used steroids should not be allowed in. And by the way, he is STILL ringless
@berryrobinsonExpat4Cultures
@berryrobinsonExpat4Cultures 8 лет назад
He should go in for the presteroid numbers then, I don't believe we should blame the guy who watched America fall in love with Sosa and Mc Gwire because of Homeruns be punished. he was seen as the best before they started juicing and they made him join to keep he light of being on top. That is why normal guys on steroid has their number and lower when a already great HOFer like Bonds Juices you great Baseball godly numbers!

Well, you really don't know the story if you think that way... if he was the greatest then he wouldn't need steroids, so he is not what you said, without steroids he would have aroun 400 less homers as proyections goes, and please come on 72 HR's in a season... thats ridiculous even for Babe Ruth, theres no human that can do it without an enhancing substance.

@juffurey

just the people who had been caught, right? nearly every player in the MLB was juicing at one point, and there's no way to tell exactly who and when. in that case, no one should be allowed in the HOF for the next 20 years.

What Makes You Think That Buster Posey Needs Barry Bonds For That
@DCProductions77

its ironic you say that cause griffey body actually gave out and barry bonds body didn't. Griffey became fatter more sluggish.

i've never say they were better than him, they're all a bunch of cheaters, just see players that didn't need steroids to compete, like Derek Jeter, Edgar Martinez, Mo Vaungh, Frank Thomas, Albert Belle, Tony Gwynn, Chipper Jones, Gary Sheffield, Cal Ripken Jr. those were real baseball players that did do something succesfull just the way they were, not a bunch of idiots that used staroids to do something they can never do otherwise.

I can usually find myself agreeing wih one of these two and I find their show entertaining..... The ONE TIME you guys agree on something, and I couldn't be in more DISAGREEMENT with both of you! I agree that Bonds was heading for a HOF career before the steroids. But, once you cheat your competitors, your teammates (and yes you are cheating the backup right fielder who also would like playing time!), and the fans..... You no longer get in the Hall. Same goes for Mcgwire, Sosa, Clemons, and all the rest!

If anyone was 'The Father of the Steroid Era' it was Jose Canseco, not Mark McGwire. I loved Jose as a hitter, but the proliferation of steroid use in baseball in the 90's can be traced back directly to his education and (in certain cases) administration of the drugs to team-mates.

How can you make the assumption that nearly every player juiced? Aren't there a lot of true clean players out there? In my opinion, Bonds and his ultra-juicing pals RUINED the integrity of baseball, and because of that crime, they should not be allowed in.

Barry Bonds, plain and simple, was a monumental CHOKER! When Barry Bonds played for the Pirates during the early 1990's, he obviously had MVP stats during the regular season, but, when it came time to demonstrate that talent in the playoffs he would go AWOL! The truest measure of greatness for any professional athlete in his chosen sport is "how did he perform when the stakes were at their highest"! Unfortunately, Barry Bonds would 'shrivel up and die' during the Post Season when his team needed him the most! For that very reason, he'll forever be labeled a "CHOKER" in the eyes of many Pirate fans!

he use steroids since 1992 when he signed with the giants, i mean... it is imposible to create such muscular mass in just one winter... he is a shame and a waste, he used to be my idol in baseball, but when i fund out what he did, i just got mad and i turn my back aganist him as he did turn his back at the real baseball, and nobody mess with the sport that i love...
