The Beastmaster infield hit. He got to the bag before the throw was in range to make a play. I found it more impressive as it showed of his speed (which i feel should be valued over his power)
I really love Trout as a player. He's quiet and unlike some others let's his bat and field play do his talking. He's got a tremendously great attitude and has a career 300+ batting average.
A notable moment absent from this series: in his first MLB at bat on April 8th, 1986, Will Clark hit a home run off of Nolan Ryan. Not a bad beginning...
5:25 “Congratulations Rookie, have a great career” Rookie of the year, MVP, All star player and World Series champion. I think he has a great career already
Yes, it was classy, but I think more players react that way than you realize. Getting to the MLB is hard, and getting a hit is even harder. Over 100 position players have at least eight career-at bats without a hit, and a couple hundred more .000 hitters have fewer at-bats.
I got to go to giants opening day this year and they had a new player that had just come from minors and he got his first hit. His first hit was an out of the park home run 😂😂
Miguel Soto I'm a Dodger fan, but I'm opened to say Buster Posey is badass. He should've gotten a part. There was a lot of people who didn't get one here. :p
I remember Mookie’s first home game at Fenway is against the Chicago Cubs and I am Emery he made a good play in right field and I knew he was gonna be a star
Chris Clary it's a damn shame he is so overlooked... he's MVP caliber but since he plays for the diamondbacks who are the laughing stock of baseball, he gets no recognition. Wouldn't be surprised if he leaves after his contract is up in a couple years
Yes, true, but I am paid commensurate with my abilities, whereas he is overpaid for his abilities... or lack thereof. That's the problem with Pro Sports. You get paid for what they think you might do in the following year two or three depending on the length of your contract. He hasn't earned his money.
Two thoughts. First, Arenado's hit looked more like a fielder's choice. Second, Pujols ended up playing for so long that his first hit was filmed with a movie camera.
Joey Donuts he's a good player but not a Star who plays for the Twins... that guy must be a twins fan because at least 4 of the guys he named have played with the Twins
Idk how many times I've said this but the Dodgers booing bryce Harper's first MLB hit... that's nothing short of what I expected from the dodgers team/fans.. what a class unit they really are.........
John Jones if you’re saying that to me yes I know that reaching in error isn’t a hit I’m saying these aren’t errors cuz if they were then they wouldn’t be in the books as hits obviously
The Seager brothers are both from my hometown, I went to high school with Corey. Nobody cares, I know, but give me this one; I don't get too much to be proud of Kannapolis/Northwest Cabarrus HS for.
