What an amazing moment. Contreras' reaction, the fans, him missing 1st base at first.. wow. Dreams coming true for that young man. Incredible.

I'm from Georgia but was in town for business, ended up at this game. My first time at Wrigley field. It was great to be able to see this moment. Wrigley really is special.

A ball player only gets one first at bat in the MAJOR leagues. He was patient enough to go from 0-2 to 3-2. You could physically feel the magic building. It was just TOTAL JOY AND EXCITMENT!

The amount of support he got from the crowd and teammates are next to NONE!!! This is why we LOVE our Cubs!!!!!

If you'll notice the video board on the left field wall it says "Called up from AA Tennessee today...." ....yeah ....it was quite a moment. Great game

He absolutely smashed it! I can’t wait for the Jomboy breakdown of this.

Had the pleasure of watching & being around Christopher a lot last season while working with the Smokies. He is so very talented, but his true gift is his positivity and fun he brings to the game. He was always smiles, dancing pregame or in the dugout, and just generally a goofy dude, but man, can he clobber a baseball!

I can say with absolute certainty that the three seconds after he hit that ball...knowing he crushed it, watching the trajectory, hearing the crowd...was the best feeling this guy ever had up to this point.

I loved the way everyone got out of their seats when the count went to 3-2 possibly hoping the young player would walk after being 0-2. And then bam smash a home run! 😁

The home run was great, but the team chemistry and fan reaction was awesome! To see your team and especially the catcher get that excited for a rookie should make him feel welcomed.

I loved it! I love Christopher's energy and smile. Contreras's excitement and the cheers from the fans made it even more special. Wilson C. had a home run his first time up in 2016. What a special for this young. Keep it up and congrats!!!☺️
