MLB The Show 23 Hitting Tips Explaining How To Improve Your Batting At The Plate And Destroy Some Of The Common Problem Pitches
MLB The Show 23 is a baseball video game by San Diego Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, based on Major League Baseball (MLB). It is available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The eighteenth entry of the MLB: The Show franchise, it was released on March 28, 2023. Miami Marlins player Jazz Chisholm Jr. is featured as the cover star, while The Captain Edition of the game features retired New York Yankees player Derek Jeter.[1][2]
For the third consecutive year, the Xbox versions of the game are available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers at no additional cost.[3]
Gameplay
The game includes a new game mode, named Storylines: A New Game Experience. This mode is set to focus on the Negro Leagues. The mode will feature eight players who played in the Negro Leagues, including Jackie Robinson, Buck O'Neil, Satchel Paige, Rube Foster, and more. The mode is a mix of gameplay and narration by Negro Leagues Baseball Museum president Bob Kendrick, highlighting moments from that player's career. For every new launch of MLB The Show, there would be a new season, featuring different players who also played in the Negro Leagues. These players would also become regular players in the other modes of the game.[4][5]
Other changes included Core Seasons in Diamond Dynasty, which would allow for 99 overall players to be obtained from day one, which take place every 6-8 weeks. For every new Core Season, only the players featured on that and the previous season can be used in Ranked and Conquest. This, however, wont affect other game modes in Diamond Dynasty such as Play vs CPU. Another new addition is Captain Cards, in which once a certain tier requirement is met for that Captain Card player, it would boost your team significantly. Proper two-way play was also implemented in this release; this makes it possible for players such as Shohei Ohtani to be used as both a starting pitcher and as a true designated hitter

Thank you! You gave me the last tip I needed to help be way more consistent. I'm only interested in offline modes, but the tip about moving the pci at the last possible second that has helped me a lot on the timing. This is the best tip I've seen other tips from other videos I've watched helped, but my timing was so bad and it helped to fix it.😂

Can you elaborate more? So am I holding down the swing button even before the pitch? While moving my pci? Or is my left thumb completely off the joystick until the minute I swing?

Your method was working for me then bam I started struggling. When I start losing I get aggressive and start swinging at everything. But pci placement is a issue for me. I like to start low in the strikezone to launch the ball but the high fast ball cant get to

@@Prnharlem130st touch and move the left stick to where the pitch is at RIGHT BEFORE you hit swing. As soon as you hit swing your PCI can't move anymore, so you want to time it very close together.

why is the game speed different when playing exhibitions, online rated, and diamond dynasty

Because they have different pitchers so in online rated they could be silvers and make the ball look slower and it looks fast in diamond dynasty because of diamond pitchers with different pitch mix and outlier.

The PCI is a damn joke and very cheap. You can literally hit a bad ball out or hit it 100+ mph for a base hit. Very cheap.

I cant change the pitches that the cpu throws in practice. Ill turn on only fastballs 2s and 4s, and he be throwing curves and cutters only. This game is bad.

Clearly it's you...There's no "on/off" for pitches... Adjust the pitch sliders to 0 and AI won't throw it

I see hitting tips online but nothing addresses. The fact that I'll play one game in the timing is fine. Then I might load into another game and then it's worse. And then I load into another game and it's dramatically delayed. So literally without restarting the Xbox and continually playing it, I will continually get worse. Ping on my hitting. So when I press the swing button, whatever you choose it is there's a delay of about. I don't know milliseconds but when you're trying to hit a fastball that's dramatic. So I literally have to restart my Xbox multiple times during a session what the f*** is going on

@@KoolKeithProductions I had this same issue, what helped me is that I found a rhythm with the pitchers motion and it helped me track the ball earlier
