Thank you for watching my videos this season, I really appreciate you all keeping up with my hard work. There are always going to be moments I missed, be sure to let me know!
Cool video man. Really enjoyed it. Enjoyed the season for my dodgers, even though there was a lot wrong and we didn’t win it all. But there’s a lot of moments I’ll never forget. One thing that I’d say u missed was Will smiths walk off against the giants. That was incredible. The other would just be Muncys dingers against the giants and how much he owns them. Can’t really think of a particular one, but any one of them just to resemble how much he torments them.
Only thing I'd mention is when the Cubs played the Phillies on September 16th, both teams scored 7 runs in the same inning. More of an anomaly than a moment, but pretty ridiculous to see happen.
@@ryandude2448 that is true I watched that game with my dad and we were pissed in the inning when the Cubs scored 7 so we turned on somthing else then my dad checked ESPN and we were like what the hell how did they come back
Yeah it was a really good turn of fortune for Atlanta. Their bullpen had been pretty mediocre at best and painful to watch at worst throughout the season. Something clicked in the post and they ended up being the reason Atlanta was able to win. I picked them over Boston in the World Series at the beginning of the year, then I picked them to win the division and lose the NLDS after the All-Star break. After the break I had LA to win over Tampa in 7 games. The only series I won money on was the NLDS SF vs LA. I took LA on a -100. If there is a full 2022 season AND the Braves re-sign Freddie Freeman I have them to repeat as champs. If they don't sign Freddie I have them losing the division to the Phillies and the Giants beating Boston in the World Series.
On par with Solar's game 6 home run at bat. That at bat was such a classic battle. He fouled pitch after pitch off until he got the mistake he was waiting on...and then...bye bye baseball.
12:25 the only thing that makes this even better is they’re best friends in the off-season. The look on Freddie’s face is priceless 😂 I still can’t believe my Atlanta Bravos won it all. Probably won’t happen for a long time, their season reminds me of the KC Royals run. Thank you baseball Gods!!
I remember being a young kid, and watching the Braves win the 95 world series. They were my stepgrandfather's favorite team, and their 95 championship was also the last one he got to see. I'm sure he's sitting up in the hereafter, with a big smile on his face.

1:37:58 I was there. Maybe not important to people not fans of the mariners or who don’t know who Kyle Seager is, but he will truly be remembered and missed
I was as well, truly incredible moment. For non Mariners fans, they probably don't get it. After all, Seager wasn't some superstar, he was a slightly above average player for his Mariners career, but for a team that struggled to find any success, on a team where people were leaving year after year and no two teams looked the same, Seager stuck with us for a decade. Despite never making the playoffs, Seager stayed and was a leader on this team for so long. He may not have been an MVP caliber player, but Seager really defined an era of Mariners baseball, and frankly was the 2010 Mariners (even if that era is better off forgotten).
i sadly was not there. I am from portland, and have been to many mariners games. All the gold glove worthy plays. All the dingers, all the everything hes ever done. The best infielder in the history of the mariners I would say. Go Mariners.
I was there too, it was my first mariners game I could ever make it to. That is a standing ovation for a team getting eliminated from playoff contention. Again. Only the M's.
8:23 Mookie Betts game winning catch. I love how the camera tracks the ball and zooms in as Mookie makes the catch. Modern day sports camerawork is a marvel. Great stuff.
Amazing how this season was supposed to be the Dodgers and Mets in the NL and Yankees and Red Sox in the AL, all because of their MASSIVE payrolls. And yet it comes down to the Astros who no one thought could win without cheating, versus the Braves who everyone gave up on after the Acuña injury. This is why baseball continues to be so very special no matter how popular the NFL or NBA are.
No one had the Sox going anywhere at the beginning of this year. There was the odd analyst that would get “risky” and put them in the second wild card spot.
Two big Mariner moments I think you missed (I may just not have seen them so sorry if you have them in here already) 1) Shed Long hits a walk-off grand slam to sweep the defending AL Champion Tampa Bay Rays in 4 games, in a series that had 3 total walk offs. 2) Dylan Moore hits a go ahead Grand Slam in the bottom of the 8th inning on July 26. The Mariners were down 7-0 earlier in the game against their division rival Astros, but clawed their way back to eventually make it a 7-8 game. With the bases loaded, two outs, and trailing by one, Dylan Moore crushed a grand slam to put the Mariners on top and complete the biggest Mariners comeback since 2012.
As a life long, die hard Braves fan, the entire postseason for 2021 was unforgettable. I hate to admit but when Acuna went down, I honestly didn't expect out of em the rest of the year. I have never been more happy to be wrong. It takes a special team to face as much adversity as they did and still be a contender, let alone win it all. It was an amazing season and I can't wait to watch them hang the banner when next season starts!
1:33:27 I remember this was the night of my schools homecoming. Got cancelled on but went regardless, had a blast with my friends and this made it one of the greatest nights ever
They aren’t any worse than before, it’s just something called regency bias where we slowly forget how bad the past was, so we only remember the present
As an Indians fan I’d say that game 5 was pretty memorable from an astros perspective, being down 4-0 to winning 9-5 is pretty big in a World Series, especially in a win-or go home game
Arozarena’s stolen home plate was clearly the ballsiest move in Baseball history… I’m not even a fan but I know brilliance when I see it.. THAT is why we love this game…
Congrats on your World Series y’all deserved it coming from an “Astros fan” I don’t like them anymore after losing in the playoffs for 3 years straight
It symbolized everything wrong with the first half of the Braves’ season. Not getting the replay reviews to go our way, the bullpen losing a hard fought game at the end, and our offense disappearing in the final innings.
When I get home after a long day at school or work, I turn on videos like this on the RU-vid app on my Xbox in my living room and then fall asleep while watching it
12:22 makes me remember why I love this game so much, as competitive as teams can be, they also remember that it is a game and act like little leaguers. For instance the number of videos on here of Beltre having fun 🤣(him and King Felix). For me baseball will always be America's Pastime.
0:01 Trey Mancini Cancer Comeback 0:55 Yermin Mercedes 5-Hit Game 2:10 Nicholas Castellanos bench clearing brawl after flexing on pitcher 2:54 Akil Baddoo hits a HR in first career at bat 3:33 Arozarena diving catch 3:58 Michael Confortos walk-off HBP
Conforto sticking his arm over the stroke zone to get hit is one of the most cowardly things ive seen happen in the bigs. What a chicken shlt way to win a game.
What an amazing season and postseason, capped off by my Braves winning the WS. But as a baseball fan I appreciate all of it. Thanks for an amazing compilation.
I can’t believe it. A great channel that has context in the highlight video. Thank you so much. I don’t know a lot of baseball so when I tune in I don’t know what’s happening. But you leave the important commentary in there. You’re a hero!!! Subscribed!!!
I watched all 2 hours 4 mins and 7 seconds of this and it DID NOT disappoint! Thank you for putting this together. I’m currently at home very sick with Covid and it sure made me feel tons better! Thank God for BASEBALL! Go Braves!
Such a great season, I was kept up to date a lot of the time by your videos!! Seeing a lot of stuff I wouldn’t have before so I appreciate it!! Love this channel
@@benrenell3429 the most unforgettable moment for Yankee fans was laughing at the Red Cox for also losing in the playoffs. If our team ain't going to the promise land, neither is your Red Cox. Karma hurts don't it? 🤣😭
@@christendo5733 We weren’t supposed to be even in the playoffs, it was supposed to be a rebuilding year. What the Red Sox did was insane, even if we lost in the playoffs. No way would the Yankees have gotten past Tampa bay lmao, Red Sox made them look like trash.
@@christendo5733 you gotta make the dance to have a chance at winning prom king, and losing in the wild card game is like the only taxi being hauled by the winning team. Boston made the dance, which is a success, the Yankees didn’t. I am an Indians fan, so I don’t really have a bias towards this
In mid September I went on a 6 stadiums in 6 days trip, and was at PNC on Roberto Clemente Day. Thank you for including that bit (1:22:00). Naturally I'm an Astros fan, and there were a lot of moments included in here as well, but even those games that mean nothing on paper end up meaning the most sometimes. Phenomenal effort on this season recap.
I'm an Astros fan and gotta say, the 'Stros got their asses kicked by Atlanta. The Braves were just ready. It was awesome to see that old rivalry back for the big series. It'll be awesome to see it again in another series.
My biased Nats fan take is that we didn't get enough love lol. I would've liked to see more than one Schwarber homer and also Soto's opening day walk off I thought would've been an easy one. Others I'm surprised weren't here were Miggy's opening day homer (first of the season for everyone after all) and Adolis Garcia's walk off homer against the Astros. Lastly of course, the greatest moment of the entire MLB season: The Josh Rogers Euro Step
My biased Braves fan take is that you guys and the Mets got WAY too much screen time! Just kidding, I was sort of caught off guard that Soto's opening day homer didn't make it myself.
@@IanT372 My biased Mets fan take is that if we had a decent manager we would've made the post season, we probably had the highest revolving rotation of players in the league. Congrats on winning tho, kinda glad to see no Dodgers or Astros win it after the BS they try to pull to win championships
Here I am rewatching this for probably the 8th time, and already getting excited for best moments 2022 edition!! Absolutely love watching these and can’t wait for 2022 and beyond
Thanks for posting this you take a lot of your time to post these very long videos for us and that show’s how dedicated your channel is especially posting the long unforgettable moments and the walk offs those are my favorite thank you for giving your time to post these videos for us
Although Eddie Rosario was the NLCS MVP for the Braves, Tyler Matzek was the hero. I remember watching this and I got so stressed out I had to walk into my kitchen and pace and as soon as he struck out Betts I fell on the floor trying to calm down. Was also at Game 4 of the World Series and Swanson and Soler going back-to-back, I have never heard Suntrust/Truist park so loud.
Some that you forgot. Miguel cabrera homer in snow, Ohtani “first pitch swinging”, mccutchen walk off home run, marte walk off home run, KeBryan Hayes “machado throw”. Just off the top of my head, awesome video
Great video but you left off the greatest game and greatest comeback in MLB this year. The Jacob Stallings walk off slam against the Mets was the best highlight of the year not only in MLB but in all of sports in 2021.
That bases loaded game winning HBP where dude on the Mets stuck his padded elbow out to get hit on purpose, and the pitch would have been a strike, is ridiculous. I guess blue thought he had stayed still? Because otherwise isn’t that batter interference? I don’t think you can just jump into the path of a pitch to get plunked on purpose. Someone correct me if I’m wrong… Either way that was bush league. Imagine teaching your kids to lean into a fastball in order to get a free pass, SMH. Great video btw 👍🏼
Crazy too say but back in 2015 i got to play the show and catch with gleyber when he played for the south bend cubs. One of the best experiences of my life👍🏼💯
