I was born and raised in Chicago, but after working 12 years in the financial Industry regulating the futures and options markets at the CME/CBOT I decided to pursue my passion fishing professional tournaments and left my full time corporate job. At that point, I moved to Junction City, WI with my wife Sara and two boys Hank and Duke. I've been fishing professionally since 2011 and full-time since 2015. I've qualified for seven MLF Championships and won over a half million in tournament winnings at the professional level.

From what I've watched, you did really good coming back. It was a tough one for sure. The heat was a big factor and being able to withstand that alone was a major triumph! The James should be an April - May event. Keep in mind, you picked up a check and points. Both always needed! Good tourney.

Always appreciate the sincerity in your videos...if you haven't seen it already try searching youtube for rigging a zoom mag ii w/ dan beeler :) he turned that into one of my favorite baits and there are days when it outperforms a drop shot for me...also believe that was on the james river and apparently it doesn't hurt to pay attention to the old folks instead of just worrying about the latest baits the younger ones are throwing these days :P

Thanks for the info your right when they are on there on when they aren’t they aren’t and it’s just light a light switch with the James most people fish the chick your right those fish also like a really slow presentation but it’s difficult with the faster water in my experience
