I remember these days. I attended the Dallas 2011 event prior to this event.. INSTINCT was the reason pros have up on this game lmao. This season had the MOST team trades because nobody could stop God Squad. At Dallas 11 I saw every team that lost to INSTINCT and the losing teams all had this depressing energy. They was thinking if they don't stop INSTINCT by Providence then that's it. Right after Halo was removed from MLG Pro Circuit. Smh. Good times. My team placed 36th at Dallas
This was the last game of the night. I went to EGL8 last weekend, I had 7 hours sleep on friday-sat, and 5hours on sat-sun. By the last game of the night after playing all day, it's surprising how any of them haven't died!
Imagine Reach having a 1-50 rank system, or Bronze-Champion ranks. The game would have been so good. Lot of hate about the bloom when it first released but most Halo fans ended up loving the game i think. The Social Slayer match-making system they had going on really hurt the game.
I truly believe reach is one of the best halo games. There were problems, yes. But what we bought in 2010 was a beautiful game. Campaign, incredible. Multiplayer, very good. Co-op, fantastic. Customisation. Incredible. Much superior to McC’s version too. In the lobby checking out how your friends looked compared to your noble 6. What colours they used, and armour variants. What rank they had. Incredible game.

Kyle Thomas if by a lot better you mean the % of matches found increased to 35% chance instead of staying at 15% you're right. I'm playing it right now, have been for about 1 hour, and I've only gotten through 3 games.
Reach is Xbox One backwards compatible. Its purchased from the xbox websight, or if you already own the game, just put the disk in to download or check the ready to install list.

The door is wide open for a Halo comeback. COD Ghosts is looking horrible for the competitive scene. It's up to Titanfall or Halo 5 to take the reigns.
Would love to see Halo come back Call Of Duty is just boring and doesnt have the same fan base as Halo use to with Ogre 2, IGotUrPistola and Lunchbox...

It's crazy how cluttered their communications are compared to modern esports. Today everyone is calm and 'hype' in comms is the opposite of what you want.
I mean it depends, in Overwatch, while "hype" isn't something you really want too much of at all, the comms are similar,, constant, never stopping flow of information, basically any time the comms are silent is probably a bad sign. But Overwatch is more of a moba with FPS mechanics so I'm not sure that really counts.
I remember I did comp Halo 3 and Reach, and it wasn't that hard to separate the cluttered comms from the game. I think it's mostly because of the long TTK, the fact that you can respawn, and the arena-style gameplay. When you compare it to Siege, CSGO, etc. Those TTK's are so quick, and once you're dead, you're dead, so there is more downtime. While in games that have a longer TTK and respawn (such as OW like Haxeu said), the comms get cluttered again (especially since there is no downtime because of respawning, which means constant/cluttered comms). It all depends, but I look back on comp Halo and even miss the comms. It made you really feel apart of everything small detail even when so much was going on lmao
True.. i also would recommend he plays against four 50's of halo 3... that system had it flaws but it gave a much clear indications of who you're playing with/against
LAN is local area network. Its so you can hook up all the xbox's. There is no lag which makes for basically zero bullshit deaths that come with lag from playing online.
tsquared impressed the hell outta me. what impressed me the most was how good looking every gamer there was. in my canadian high school if your a gamer your a loser, yet if you told me any of these guys was a pro soccer or tennis player, itd be totally believable. fuck jocks boys keep it up!
@WaspSnG Working out greatly increases your reaction time. Pro's do work out. Not for muscle, simply to stay fit. mainly focusing on cardio. Dont think working out means their all trying to be bodybuilders.
@Cheeseball007ftw Could be wrong, but I think it's because under normal Reach circumstances a tie game is possible, for example a 2 to 2 on CTF. They want a definite winner, so setting the clock to 30.00 allows them to continue into overtime if necessary.
@WaspSnG well I know Tsquared work out but I doubt they work specifically for bulking I'm assuming they train for conditioning and being cut rather than bulky. That's what it looked like from some of T2's before and after pics. He was big but he got abs and definition.
I think Halo 3 is still very much alive, if you go in as a team it does take sometime to find a match, but all me and my friends do is play Halo 3 still. In the last two months we've gotten 2 50s in slayer and 3 in doubles. Plus there are tournaments hosted by players off of Halo 3's forum and from people on HackForums ran all the time, and on top of that we play customs all the time.
Those are teams with specific recruitment requirements, any team can go far and win a MLG tournament with negative k/d's. Just because you aren't part of Str8 Rippin or BtH doesn't mean you aren't a pro...
I am just letting the facts of Halo 4 known--RU-vid's comment sections are open for many discussions and random replies (unless suggested by the author). Halo 4 continued to carry the torch and further enhance the way we play Halo by making better of Halo: Reach's game-play. I personally felt Halo Reach was a great game from the get go. To each his own.
