@seandragon9130 You forgot what they did to their various toys! The toy quality has gone down a little in many areas and the price went up. The lack of sales tends to drive cancellation, but shouldn't they have had a better grasp on what the target audences want, too?
You perfected the reason why G5 was beautiful, and as like many, even in my darkest hours, when life was throwing curveballs in my path, and through all of the harassment I was getting in high school, this generation kept me going, and I’m grateful that I was part of this community.

Goodbye Equestria, even though you feel like a different world compared to how you were before, but I doubt that you will be returning in the future, especially after this happened. Certain other RU-vidrs claimed that the resolution to Skyros, seaponies, etc. would have never have come anyway. That's nonsense, considering that we saw with own eyes both sea pony land and Skyros in the leaked backgrounds for unreleased episodes.
I wished that MLP:Tell Your Tales Season 2 could continue a little longer or at least make the second special length episode because I would like to see the Ponies learn the truth about Allura and decided to help her get back home to reunited with her brother instead leaving as a cliffhanger.
I'm with you Hawknight Wing. I love G5, from the very start. Ever since the movie came out. I'm really sad and angry that Hasbro just ended the show, before it could really conclude. But I'm happy for what we have instead of what I didn't get. Thank you G5. You made me feel so much better through the hard time. You are amazing Hawknight Wing, keep up the great work. I will also do my own stories and videos some day. Thank you for inspiring me. You are a great person and wonderful G5 defender.
Technically, CEO Chris Cocks is the one who did this, as he forced them to end it like this, because of what he wants to do with the company, and their brands as well. Get sad and angry at him, not the team behind the show. They wanted to keep it going, and to keep their promise that they made for all of us, but he did not care about anyone but himself.
G5 may have not been popular like G4, due to all the low toy sale and all of the negative views towards it, it's still deserves the appreciation it deserves and we will keep its Legacy alive like we do for G4 and the other Generations, for Hasbro and their CEO really messed this up for G5 like they did to G4 and we're not letting them getting away for this treachery, I hope one day and you future that Hasbro would reconsider their option and uncanceled G5 and continue its story a little bit longer and maybe as well as for G4.

Beautiful video. A great final send-off to Tell Your Tale and it perfectly shows why G5 is so special to us. As a famous qoute once said: 'Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened' Also, OMG that ending got me hyped! ^^
You and I are so alike in that regard. G5 refired my creative streak and brought me back to writing fanfiction. It also inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and start my RU-vid channel. True, it hasn't all been smooth sailing-some of the stories were clangers, and I sure as hell ain't living down the Harbo Wholmes incident (if you're reading this Faolan, thank you for the proverbial kick up the arse). But my time in this community brought me into contact with wonderful people united by their love of G5 and who applied its lessons in real life. That is G5's true legacy. That is what G5 meant, and still means, to me.
What they ought to have done was take something that appeals to the older audience that actually fits into a short format or have a large episode broken into bite-sized parts.
Hoof to heart. I just remembered something about that catchphrase of theirs. I just love how when they said it, they not only would put their hooves over their hearts, but also how they all have hearts on the bottom of their hooves. That is a nice little detail that they made for them.

Another example of fans saving a show, Brooklyn 99 After the masterpiece that was No Place Like Home, I was wondering if this episode was going to be more fluffy and repeat what happened with Ooh, a new friend and Attack of the Vending Machines, and it seems I was right. Because of that thought, a part of me wanted No Place Like Home to be the final episode, even before seeing this episode. Not just for it's quality, but also because the ending with Allura still missing her brother is what we're all feeling about G5's cancellation. It's quite fitting when you think about it. However, this might be a fitting send off in it's own way. Seeing the Mane 6 having fun one last time, with the animation going as wild as Izzy's creativity (quite literally), magic running wild to make the water park, Izzy's rainbow form returning, the awesome song that is Let Your Magic Run Wild playing the background, Alphabittle and Haven being cute, Comet, as well as all the other minor/background characters joining in for a last hurrah of sorts. It's kind of perfect because it's ordinary. This is just a typical day for these ponies. Great animation, great songs, and a fun time with characters we love all the wild magic feats are occurring along with promoting a toy. That's a big part of this show, if not the franchise. Is is the grandest, most perfect send off, no. But it is imaginative, passionate in what it wanted to be, and just so plain fun that it put a smile on my face. All good things must come to end, even if it is before it's time. Sunny said it best, "It was fun while it lasted" and I for one had a lot of fun on this crazy, magical journey with this loveable family of characters.
To sum it up, Brian Goldner was the original CEO of Hasbro before he passed away in 2021 (died at the age of 58), his predecessor Chris Cocks took over as CEO. Goldner had a vision to make Hasbro a "Disney like" company Cxcd on youtube can explain more. Goldner wanted a legacy, it can be seen in A new Generation when the Mane 5 were under Zephyr Hights, the banners of the Wonderbolts and Twilights cutie mark, wasn't just for the story, but it was to honor G4. Goldner honored the Brony fandom with this scene, it was a symbolism, a symbol in hopes to bring the two together by honoring what came before. Sadly he died before that came to be and the only true legacy we have of his is A New Generation, the rest was trashed by the new CEO Chris Cocks vision. Lets diverge though and speculate if Goldner didn't pass away and continued with his vision. In short G4 and G5 would compliment each other, the story, lore and animation would be fleshed out that Disney would take notice. Soon a second movie would be made after a few seasons of MYM and TYT, this would make Hasbro lots of money taking them out of bankruptcy while also putting them and the Brony fandom in a second golden age. There would be some toxicity, but not as bad as today, it is a fandom after all, but it would also bring bring the Mane 6 of G4 and G5 together. How do you like this idea for a g5 species. They are called Harmonixies and they are tiny creatures similar to Breezies but they have cutie marks representing music and whenever they sing in harmony the environment around them reacts
They all shined really bright in their own way in this generation. They could have shined more, but yeah, we all know. The characters all did make a very big impact in this generation. The effect that they had on themselves, and all of us fans, it was all just spectacular. When something like that hits you hard, it really makes a very big difference. As you yourself have said on how much this show has affected you. It helped to change you, and now, you have found your own passion in your life. You are doing what you love to do and enjoy. While you also pursue a career for your future. That really shows us all just how much this has helped you. It was also the same way for a lot of people, MLP has also helped a lot of other people pursue their own careers, on RU-vid, and other personal careers as well, they all got help from both this generation, and also from the previous one. Such a big impact like that from MLP is just phenomenal.
Well even though I knew from the very beginning that this episode wasn't meant to be the final one it was still a great episode and seeing more of izzy's rainbow power magic again to make a new installment in the broadtrot ( while it last 😅😅😂)plus it was nice seeing all the background and side characters again and i still can't believe that after 3 years of g5 it ends 💔 💙 😢 ❤️ 🎉🎉 plus i don't think that g6 will be coming out in 2 years
I sometimes think that if this idea of another season never happened, then all of this stuff that they had planned to do with Allura, sea ponies, Skyros, ETC, all could have been saved for a future generation, to help make it amazing, if this was not all planned out, and then scrapped due to Chris Cocks. Including Allura’s introduction special, that also could have been saved as well, as it was such a very big and important intro for her, in such a large way. But since each different show that is in a franchise have different people working on it, writers, directors, producers, ETC, so then the future team would most likely not have thought of these ideas. But that is just something that I wanted to say, as we all know for a fact, that this was going to be such an incredible joy ride, with so much thrill to enjoy, along with so much pleasure to await us all. One massive hell of a ride that we would all always love to get back on, and ride again.

What you said about not feeling optimistic, we all do not blame you for that. We all feel that way right now. Because of what Chris Cocks did. His administration is completely ruining everything at Hasbro, that no one is looking forward to anything that they make anymore with him in charge. All of their brands and the company itself, they are all totally doomed to fail because of him. Also, from what has happened in the community, we also feel like nothing may be the same way again. Everything was so amazing and awesome before, but now, everything may never be that way again.
I also wonder if we were going to get any holiday-based episodes this season, like we did in the previous one. Nightmare Night, or the winter holidays, maybe even Harvest and Hugs Day again, either kind would have been awesome. Fun fact: we would have had an episode released on Halloween this year.

My major complaint is that it feels mean-spirited to leave Allura feeling dejected and depressed in the previous episode whilst this one focuses on everyone else having fun and given that it's meant to be the final episode of Tell Your Tale, it's a massive shame that any resolution or redemption Allura could've had is now nullified and she'll never see her brother again for the rest of her life. If there's one thing I'll always take issue with when it comes to this show. It's the villains. I'm sorry but Opaline and Allura deserved better. At least in the former's case, she had a backstory, a motivation, a good introduction and a decent defeat. But with Allura? She got nothing for the most part.

But remember this, Chris Cocks, he is the one that screwed everyone over. He is the one that told them to do this, despite how much the team wanted to keep going with it. So really blame him. None of us are really feeling optimistic with him in charge, with really anything from Hasbro right now, to be honest. I know I said it a bunch of times, but, if they had just stuck to their original plan to end it last year, as the defeat of Opaline, and the song that they all sang together really felt like a finale, then we would have been totally okay with that, as we all would have seen it coming, and accepted it being the end of this generation, even if it was not a very long run. But hey, anything is better than this. At least we would all still be optimistic for the future in that case. The team thought that Chris Cocks would care about TYT being a success, but he clearly didn't. If the team had known about this, then they would not have tried to do this. Brian Goldner would have cared, and would have let them keep going, just like they did with FIM, because he truly did care. Heck, he even hired a fan artist to help work on the movie, and if that does not show how much he did care for us all, then I do not know what does. Also, I have to say this. MYM has always in my opinion, been the more entertaining show out of the two. I loved how they were in 3D animation, as it made them all look so much more realistic, and adorable. That is something that I really do hope we can all see again in the future, and for it to not be just a one-time-thing. Also, the style of script writing was much better, as it was meant to be, with longer episodes and specials. It also had a lot more action, and adventure behind it. It also got really epic and serious at the times when it really needed to be. TYT was just there to help support it and to back it up, as it was more comedic and fast-paced. Sure, this season was going to be just as epic, and serious with a lot more action as MYM was, but still, I am just trying to make point here. Even though this show was more successful then MYM, G4, and FIM, which is still a very big shock, and got so many views, and even an award, which is surprising for a RU-vid series, the other show just had a lot more action for the most part. I go back to MYM more often, as it really has a special vibe to it that I really do enjoy so much, whereas with TYT, I would usually watch a new episode like maybe once or twice, and then move on or so, unless it was really good, like the upcoming specials and episodes were going to be, for sure. I still really did enjoy it, as this show did give us all some really great content a lot of times as well, and I was also really looking forward to all of the action we were going to get this season, and I am just as devastated as you and everyone else. The way I see it, the only way things can get better is if he causes Hasbro to go bankrupt, or pretty close to it, and they get bought out by another company. Like how Disney bought Marvel. If that happens, then they can help give all of their brands a fresh new start, and maybe we will be a bit more optimistic for the future.
G5 had so much potential but it went out on an unfinished arch. I’ve heard a lot of the flaws were because of the CEO of Hasbro cutting costs and giving the people who worked on MYM limited time to make the first season. Along with the clunky animation, yea the writing was poor, and the characters were dumbed down to appeal to younger audiences. The writers at least tried with the other chapters and heavily improved the animation, but it wasn’t enough to save itself from its fate. If there wasn’t any corporate meddling involved, G5 could have been a lot better than what occurred. I initially thought it was just the target audience trope that ruined it, but the fact Hasbros corporates heavily caused this is just awful. Now G5 is at least not G3 levels of bad, it had the best movie, and the makers of MYM tried to make it appealing to Bronies. I do like that you heavily defended G5, because a lot of Bronies bashed it harshly. I defended it to by the time the other chapters began releasing. But my god, it had to go out like this. But yet again animation hasn’t been in a good position lately…
I'm a little sad that MLP G5 is ending, I did enjoy the adventures of Sunny and her friends, while learning of Equestria past and Twilight sparkle time, and maybe G5 won't be ending just of yet, as there are two petition for another season of Make your mark, witches could mean more G5 show

Even though I do prefer MYM, season 1 of TYT does have some really good episodes that I like to rewatch every now and then, and despite being only 5 minutes each, some of them are funny, and enjoyable. I will rewatch season 1 of TYT, along with MYM and ANG, as they are all really entertaining, and have some really remarkable moments that greatly amuse, and entertain me. I may not be able to come back to season 2 that much because of this happening, despite how good it was going, before this all happened. But still, everything else has a lot of really fun content for us all, with so much enjoyment and amusement.
The one thing about TYT that kind of bothered me was how some of the character designs were either reversed/mirrored, or even looked a lot different than how they are in MYM and ANG. I understand that 2D vs 3D animation has different results, but still, I just wanted to point that out. They still look great, cute, and loveable though, they just look much better in the other animation style. We all can agree on that. Even some of their hooves had different colors for some weird, strange, odd, and unknown reason.
@@moisieiev7124 Equestria Girls was nothing but a silly human doll tie in for them from the start. It’s hard to believe that Hasbro cared about it all that much. It had much more of a following than G5 did, I’m sure, but the higher ups never seemed to be obsessed about milking it to oblivion the same way they are for FIM proper. I think the cancellation of EQG was inevitable once Hasbro moved on to G5 as it didn’t matter much to them to begin with. Despite Sunset’s beautiful story, all EQG was to them was a business move. And while that is disappointing, I think a lot of us kinda accepted it and the cancellation didn’t matter all that much due to it being separate from the main G4 story. Tell Your Tale being cancelled is even worse in my view because that was the main show, and it was carrying the overall story.

Probably radically different. I most likely would have left the fandom entirely after failing to get my first G4 stories off the ground (plus a multitude of other factors; growing up and stuff). My interest in pony was already waning drastically. I thought G4 ended on the perfect note and after following it and its (at the time) incredible community for 5 years straight, I was content to finally leave MLP behind for good and watch the Sun rise on a grateful universe. I was still casually following G5 news, but I wasn’t nearly as hardcore Brony as I used to be. It would have taken a miracle to bring me back to the fandom, especially to this extent. G5 was that miracle.

@@SmokeTheHorsehog I don’t know, honestly. Maybe I would’ve fallen in love with another show, but nothing has really captured my attention the same way MLP has, both generations combined. I think the closest I’ve come to that was the Owl House and the Amazing Digital Circus, but still…MLP just has that spark that other properties don’t, the kind that lights up your imagination in all areas. I probably would’ve stayed on my old Admiral Producer channel, faded to obscurity, and left the online space behind eventually once I couldn’t get that right. Who knows? It’s kinda hard to imagine life without MLP in general. It’s been an integral cornerstone of my life that nothing else has been able to replicate.

But more than that, I'm thankful for my college education and the existence of Scratch, RU-vid and Discord. Without the former, I wouldn't have gotten as much into creative writing or video remixing, like I am today. And personally, I'm better at editing than I am at drawing, because I don't have the fine motor skills for drawing all too well. And without the latter, I wouldn't have met such great friends, those who've been by my side for so long, and those who have changed my life for the better. Even amongst the freaks or pests I've met on RU-vid and Discord, I'd probably feel a lot more lonely when I struggle as much as I do to socialize in person.

If Hasbro cannot keep Tell Your Tale going, then I hope fans can. There are choices. Either include the Changelings, Yaks, Hippogriffs, Griffons, Kelpies, Abadas, and Kirins to go with the G4 part of the franchise, or get rid of the G4 part and make G5 its own thing.

While I am sad that "Tell Your Tale" has ended at least we have the IDW Comics that will be continuing the story for G5, but I wonder what are your thoughts on the comics recently?
Hasbro is a greedy and incompetent compapy which ruined its IPs and bronies are a troll and crazy fandom which destroyed MLP as a franchise. That company and that fandom asked for this lack of quality and decency. You asked for it. You failed MLP. A fandom born on 4chan could be something very questionable. Some good people who were part of it moved on. Moving on from this franchise to discover other ones to appreciate could be a wise decision.
Bronies didn't ruin the franchise, they turned what was just another slice of hasbros profits and skyrocketed it to the moon. The show writers were involved(some more than others) with the fandom and even Lauren Faust creator of g4 used 4chan

I agree eventhough it wasn't a big finale at least it wasn't a bad episode! I think the MLP Season 9 finale is worse! At least Discord is not releasing any villains and pretending to be Grogar! @@bluestudios4734 Speak for yourself, honestly. Regardless if you dislike Tell Your Tale, you shouldn’t be celebrating its cancellation. Animation deserves to be respected as a medium, and in this day and age, cancellations and tax write offs run rampant, leaving many talented people out of a job and potentially homeless. Hate it if you want, but as a creator myself, I hold the policy that unless an animated show is truly just unbearable and even borderline offensive, losing it is a harsh blow. Not to mention, you should have empathy for fans like myself and others who loved it until the very end. If you’re this gun ho about hating G5, you’re obviously a G4-only fan, so I have to remind you. You know what it’s like to feel the loss of something that’s been an integral part of your life for years. You felt that when FIM ended. Have some empathy for those who are going through that same form of heartbreak.
