I love G5 but I want it to stop. Since the last chapter of Make your Mark everything is happening too fast like they're trying to show us everything we want to see in a minimum of episodes... And in the french version of Tell your Tale, voices are made in AI since season 2 so I think that they want Tell your Tale to be cancelled...
@@lucynyan836 Hasbro already confirmed that no AI was used in any part of production for MYM or TYT, so that’s false. I understand that Tell Your Tale may not be for everyone, but don’t you want them to complete the story they’re trying to tell with Season 2 before cancelling it? Even if you don’t like the show, it doesn’t seem fair that they leave the story incomplete.
When I heard this I was shocked, sad, and depressed but I was thinking and I don’t believe these rumors that they will cancel g5 tyt before season 2 is finished, I seem to remember some rumors like a year ago that tyt was canceled back than and we got way more stuff after that, so I hope there will be more pony in 2025 there could be a break but as far as g5 ending idk if that’s true or not plus the VAs have been at cons lately none of them have said anything about an ending or wrap up, I do trust mdash but I think some of this might be wrong.
Tell your tale is sponsored by Canada. I don’t know much about governmental funding, but I’m sure you can’t just say you changed your mind and return money. It will at least hinder your reputation, and at worst make you a criminal. Plus only a few of “Make a wish” ponies appeared in the show by now. (Background ponies designed by seriously ill children.) Not showing rest of them is just… evil. This and governmental support will make second season’s early cancelation an extremely big reputational loss. No sane person would ever do that (unless it’s a saboteur from Wild Manes :) ). Hasbro carried Make Your Mark till the end, despite low public perception. So why would they abandon Tell Your Tale, which is much easier to produce? (According to Irina Golina, creating 20 minutes episode for a 2d cutout show takes a mounth. TYT is a 5 minutes show. It doesn’t mean its 4 times faster, but 2 weeks seems reasonable. Wild Manes have simpler animation, plots and less backgrounds, which is why it takes 2 times faster. Why producers thought Lil Critters can handle it in a week is a mystery to me). And which have decent views (Octonauts have 50.000-200.000 views per episode and it doesn’t stop them, while TYT only recently dropped to similar numbers). Also about 8 workers leaving - which exact jobs they had? It may easily be something specific, which isn’t needed anymore. And even if not, many animators jump from project to project, rather than staying on single studio. They may find projects they like more (*cough*, or ones having better producers *cough*). I so badly wish to know what is happening behind the curtain of this gen. I was rewatching MYM ch 2 and its main problems are mediocre/bad b plots, weeery weak animation until episode 6 (there are moments, when animator posed beginning key, ending key, pressed interpolate and moved on to next shot! There are few great shots too, but not enough), some bad dialogue writing (like nonsensical “I shouldn’t be encouraging chaos and smoothies” line to start an argument, or saying “Alicorn” a billion times in fourth episode). They all are signs of rushed product and were significantly improved later on. And TYT’s constantly missed schedule, unacceptably long smears instead of animation (in very early episodes of s1) and shallow episode plots (like 2.17, or 2.2) seem to be resoults of the same issue. I wish animators have decent working conditions, and higher ups allowed them to fail poorly thought out schedule to avoid crunches. But who knows what’s really going on? Only workers and their bosses... P.s Sorry i’m so late to discussion, this semester of mine is insane, but it should get better soon. Have a better day than me.

It's a pity that Posey cannot relate to Sunny. Sunny was almost friendless during the events of the movie. I would be interested to know what Posey was like during the events of the Movie even if she wasn't yet created. Perhaps she was not interested in Phyllis Cloverleaf's nonsensical paranoia on Pegasi and Unicorn threats and did not want to buy her merchandise. I would say that Posey was okay in "Snow Pun Intended". She doesn't need to like snow if it's not her thing, but who knows? Maybe she'll give snow another chance. If I had to compare Posey to her generation 1 counterpart, I'd say that she has long way to go before she can mimic the motherly demeanor of her predecessor.
As person who thinks that G5 has waisted it's potential, but for the same time defends G5 from an unfair hate, I'll tell my position. I think that for a sequel/legacy story it is essential to be focused on rediscovering the past. If it never does, it's not a sequel but a spin-off, that is focused on different location and is not connected to the main plot of the original story. And if it's a spin-off, then what's the point to place it into different era, making this whole story with Equestria's fall? This story could have worked with any background characters from FIM, that could be happening at the same time with FIM series. For me personally, the good example of a sequel story, are the Star Wars sequels. The reason is because the main characters explore the past by finding old characters: Luke, Han, Leia, and eventually become their successors after learning lessons from them at the end of the story.
Second favorite Sunny ship and Second fave Hitch ship if. It's an awesome ship but Stormblazer and StarComet are in my OTP list if Sunny and Hitch get together no problem with that.
I don't want Make your mark to end, it has something that tell your tales doesn't Twilight sparkle and her friends, and writing this reminds me of the petition for another chapter of Make your Mark
It’s not true people who hate g5 are probably just spreading rumors because they got nothing else to do so their nothing but lazy and stupid people. So please don’t fall for this crap. G5 fans like us will make sure they keep g5 going. Also love your content keep up the great work.
I don't mean to be a wet blanket however but unfortunately in the history of kids shows they have canceled shows under some circumstances I can name three examples off the top of my head the first was Jake and the pack which was a planned spinoff show to Thomas the tank engine, unfortunately because of a company merger the show was cancelled even though the entire season had already been written and 13 episodes had already been made resulting in them being shelved and thought to never see the light of day until of course the decision to release them as DVD exclusive was made. The second one was a cancelled Disney show that would have been a sequel to Atlantis the Lost empire however because the movie did so poorly in theaters the show was cancelled however a good portion of three episodes was already done so they just reworked them together into a straight to video sequel movie, the last one I'm thinking of is another sequel show this one was going to continue the story of the movie wonder park all the episodes were given a promise and a title and a fully animated trailer was released however because of the movie underperforming the show was cancelled with no information on what they plan to do with the completed episodes, so yes the unanticipated can happen and unfortunately the majority of people already believe it to be true, i personally don't know what to think.
Honestly I think this episode was originally part of the 22 minute special that we were supposed to get in August, because the stakes feel a lot higher and it just feels like a special episode with Aloura. Plus the ending feels like it was cut off at a strange spot, as if it was originally part of a full episode. I think the next two or three episodes might be from this special episode.
@@UltraSonicRainboom I honestly don’t think it was part of the special. Nothing really felt out of place here. I think we’ve gotten too used to TYT episodes not featuring Allura that when one does, it’s confusing. This doesn’t strike me as a retooled scene from the special because if it was, I’d imagine there would be a lot of context missing. But the story is complete from beginning to end. I actually liked that they ended it at a cliffhanger. Gets me hyped for this next special that may or may not come out. I sure hope it does.
If G5 was canceled, that could explain why TYT Season 2 has been relegated to a biweekly schedule. To spread out what they got for a while. This way, we still get a regular release of TYT content through 2025. This could also work if they're only planning a hiatus for 2025, which only applies to production, not releases. Hasbro could even intentionally be leaking lies. It's something that Doctor Who does all the time.
