For my very first animatic, I don't think I did too bad! (could have been a lot better though, editing wise. OH WELL)
First I would like to thank DreamSong and Silver Pony Players for letting me create this.
I fell in love with the song on my first go around watching their audio story, Equestria; Hidden Histories. At the time, the song hit me hard, simple as it is.
I feel like I have a lot in common with Luna, for I have an elder sister too who shined quite a bit more than me. Of course now, we're best friends.
We two really are like the Royal Sisters in a small sense.
It was only a few days after listening to the song that I came up with the storyboard, and then somehow managed to gumption up enough courage to ask for permission to animate it. YES! Full animation!
It is currently in the works, I think at the rate I am going, it can be done late next year, or early 2018. But if I can manage to find more time for it, earlier than that. Crossing my fingers! (working two jobs makes it hard to work on personal projects, I put this animatic off for three months!)
TIME EDIT
This year -2017 has been hella hard. I am making great progress but not nearly as far as I though I would be! My tablet is dying and need a new one soon, and since my, albeit small, promotion at work, I work so many hours in one week it's hard to even be awake enough to work on this. But fear not!!! I am still diligently working on it, when I'm... cough.. not distracted by little projects. That and I need a computer that can handle toon boom again. Mine died and my laptop is just short of being able to handle it. But, i almost have enough money saved up for that, then buy a new tablet.. hopefully. Traditional frame by frame is fun but I still need to color it. Here's to hoping I can get this done sooner than later! Thanks for reading if you did!
