In thaiboxing you are supposed to step to the side when catching the kick, silva is kind of spinning or twisting for the same effect.

@DAZRADS Watch the video again. You'll see he twists his body to reduce the damage, or "lessen the blow".

@cheezysoccerboi Lol. Im not talking about when Anderson is punching. I was saying he twists his body to reduce damage done from his opponent's kick(s). Look at DAZRADS comment then look at mine, it'll make more sense then :P.
