I forgot about that GameMaker Engine that person was making to help others make their own Mega Man X-like game. Though this was a new fangame. Last video of his was 7 months ago and it had Nightmare Zero in it. This is the updated version since then, right? I might keep it out. Though I like to learn how to use Godot as well to make a Mega Man X game. I hope we can change the sprite styles from the SNES era to PSX era ones. And add our own characters too.
Considering there is a X8 SNES Demake pre-jacobs ladder demo with X Only currently you get to see more of that style of X there but sadly the ultimate version isnt in it yet as far as i know
Couple of things from the video with Chill Penguin, did you make those sprites? I know that the original Zero never fully charged is Z Buster, second Mega Man can't wall kick [no Mega Man X DiVE doesn't count], the Beam Saber does half damage, 16 bit X can't duck.
@@Retro_kid_X Chill Penguin. The attack where he'd breathe frost and create two statues, which would soak up a couple of shots and become extra obstacles to avoid during the snow and wind move. Honestly that one's more annoying than threatening so I can see why it would be cut, but having it dropped from the boss AI does mean there's no opportunity to freeze the player character in place - basically the one thing that ever made the floor slide attack dangerous.
Is this color of Chill Penguin a fan recolor thing? I swore when I played the game as a kid he was that color and then ever since then, he's been blue! I guess I misremembered due to how he looks in the Stage Select screen.
@@Retro_kid_X look closely at 11:35 It's just that it looks like that X's dash animation was replaced by a slide and when he jumped he went further than he would go with a normal jump And in the megaman games when he jumps after sliding it doesn't take him further. That's what I was trying to say
