@@aaron4104 Wish I could see it for the first time again. Still considered one of the best films of all time. Losing the best picture oscar to forest gump that year was very controversial at the time n had people protesting the selection.
It's thanks to this video that not only did I find one of my favorite music artists ever but I also got introduced to Shawshank redemption, what a stellar movie. I've come back to this video every once in awhile since it came out and I think I'll continue to do that forever. Thanks
This song would be so fire hanging out with the love of your life, drinking wine, Maybe smoke a joint or two, just laying down with them watching the sunset or gazing at the starts 💫💕🌅
5 years ago I discovered this song in the of the most pivotal and surreal times of my life at 15, I would take mass amounts of etheogens and psycadelics and layin bed n vibe, little did I know what would be in store for me at that point, man how time flies
Why do you have to mention you took psychedelics? Does that enhance your boring story? We all took them, you should have went outside sometimes and did them. And btw your twenty one, there's not really alot of stories you got. That's word to Louis ck
Man - I know what you mean. I found this video when it was uploaded, 9 years ago now. The whole LA beat scene / post fly-lo era sound reminds me of my teen years. Hope you’re well in 2022!
I must say, I've been watching this every few days or so for a few years now. Although some may assume that it would grow stale over time, this never ceases to grasp my attention. I can't think of any other song that would fit these visuals. I'm seriously at a loss for words, this is fucking monumental. Fuck Chuck Berry, they should throw this on a spacecraft and let it travel through our universe.
This song feels like when you were looking at your phone too long and when you stand up your head is spinning for a second and everything goes black And then after that you're fine again :)
The Song + the Music Video = Perfection. Feel like Tim Robbins' Character from this movie - Trying to enjoy & share peace, only to be met with reality..
I just stumbled onto this after watching the against the clock (which is amazing). I have been exploring countless genres looking for "it". Just something different I can jam to and possibly have influence over my own music. Not sure if this is what I was searching for, but I'm very happy I found it. Also if anyone can recommend similar artists, I'm all ears.
Search for lo-fi beats on Soundcloud or RU-vid and you'll find an endless stream of stuff in this genre.. From the bigger names there is Knxwledge, Flying Lotus, Shlomo, Toro y Moi, Toonorth, there are lots...
