They're now selling them in black via Aliexpress. As of this moment, they're sold out. Update: I got mine yesterday, and their awesome. I live that they're tight and don't wobble at all.
One major problem I have about this is that its HD Rumble doesn't work on a lot of minigames on Super Mario Party and Super Mario Party Superstar. Rumble-centric minigames like Rattle and Hmmm and Metal Detectors on Super Mario Party won't respond to these controllers while the original joycons do. I've already contacted their customer support and they said they might be able to fix it on the firmware but might take a while since Nintendo didn't release the official vibration data for these games which make it difficult to fix. Hopefully they can push a fix since this has been my main controller ever since I've received it. It's better on almost anything the original Joycons have to offer and more.
@@VKsChannel could be but I tried playing testing it with just one active controller and it still didn't work. tbf this issue only happened on these games so far. other games like super mario odyssey seem to work great, almost as good as the original joycons when it comes to HD Rumble.
True. My cousins came over a while ago, and i used these for super mario party & i couldn't use the vibration for a mini game, i just used the audio to guess lol
Hi Everyone, If you want a good Thump Grips Size, Skull & Co. has the Steam Deck size (The ones with the 3 sizes) that fit perfectly in the M6 HD. 👌 Have a great day you all.😎
@@jshu-_- Nintendo posted on twitter they'll announce the switch successor before this fiscal year ends, so before March 2025 I think. Could be on their next Direct this year or early next year.
@@ricardoa.godinez2837did you find out? I think it comes with both style plates so when you order the black controller, it should have that extra plate in black with it
@@RFNY315 No, it comes with a pair of black shells and a pair of white shells. But I want to know if the black shells comes with the circular or the octagonal rings.
Had these for 6+ months. Mine came with an offbrand case (not mobapad) which depresses the shoulder buttons and causes them to drain the batteries in the Switch. They also vibrate slightly when attached to the Switch when it is charging. Real clunky and loud capture button as well as those + and - buttons on the bottom of the joycon. Makes your switch huge and tilts it away from you when handheld. Shoulder and face buttons as well as the sticks are peak. You know those games you prefer to play on TV so you can use the pro controller? You won't think that here. Using the dpad handheld goes from PS1 pad awkward to XBox Elite with that nonagon dish. Map those paddles on the back to jump or pick up items and keep your thumbs on those sticks. These are expensive, and the best. Just get that mobapad case.
So that's why my switch suddenly started to ran out of battery out of the fucking blue. I have the same nom branded case, what a piece of shit. I'm buying the real case ASAP with the new black shell (when available)
It'll be hard to top these, honestly. Making the d-pads' surfaces a bit grippier and the mechanical structure more like what Flydigi's doing or like the Neo Geo Pocket/Color's would be one thing to improve on. Improving the back buttons in general and the shoulder buttons' travel is another. I also kind of slam my thumb too hard playing Super Mario RPG and it hurts a bit.
Hey friend, can you help me out, please? Do they fit well in the rails, or do they feel loose and "wobbly"? I bought a LinYuvo and had to return it because the fit was loose, very different from the original joy-cons that fit like a "single piece." Thanks!
The two problems i have with these are that 1: I cant bind the side buttons to the back buttons (this would allow me to use them with rewasd ie PTT or gyro on/off) and 2: the the texture on the thumb sticks is god awful ( I don't usually use grips)
Yeah I feel that the only solution for your situation would be a remapping Minus to the back button and using it as a gyro on/off and having a shift layer assigned to another button to keep it's original mapping when you need to press Minus proper. Alternatively, Steam Input recognizes JoyCon SL/SR as four separate buttons which could be pretty useful if you use the controllers in a split joycon setup. However I can't vouch for this working with these since I don't have em yet
Impossible to drift on these pads, they truly are the best joy-con alternative.... I don't even use my Satisfye grips anymore, these were well worth the 80$ I paid
