First time, first time, I have seen a video on performance modifications mention brakes, tyres and suspension. It's always extra power without the stopping power. Excellent video, clear and concise.
This was great, I been tryin to find out about "free modifications to car" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Vabrielbey Vehicle Verifiability - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my brother in law got cool success with it.
Just wonderful, I've been looking for "best car performance mods" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Vabrielbey Vehicle Verifiability - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my buddy got great results with it.
Come on Chris , # 2 "Upgraded Throttle Body" people are actually going to take your advise based on this proffesional looking video . FAIL !! An upgraded throttle body should be way down the list . LISTEN people .... install your Freeflow exhaust ......& headers if your serius , Then fit your Cold Air Kit . Now your car is breathing alot better & its able to remove the exhaust gasses quicker . You have just gained anywere from approx 20bhp to 40bhp ..Now if your bored with that take your vehicle to a well established tuning shop for a REMAP . this will give you substantial power gains and you will be enjoying your new feeling car . Amen .
not true, you can't really get that much horse power with mods outside the engine for examples "daihatisu charade" the car is struggling to get around 80bhp how can you expect the car to gain 50% more horse power by doing mods outside the engine?even with high cam and high compression piston it still wouldn't get to 100bhp easily, and some car's ecu isn't a learning one so without an ecu tune the mods is moslty use less.
I've seen small engine car doing all mods outside the engine plus tune intake manifold, throttle body, injecter, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, full exhaust system, cold air intake ans after tuning the car only increase less than 40% of power it gain a little less than 35%....so for a 100bhp car it only gain around 30~35bhp, without a turbo or supercharher you can't get around 50% increase of power easily unless you port and polish your head and high cam and piston with some other mods like the rods, valve....than you might get power easily
If you're looking for a smooth ride, get a sport suspension and sport tires. My car only produces sub-200 HP but rides smoother during accel, decel, and turns, than anything I've ever been in.
I agree it seemed like I was watching a video in high school. Great information but those pod filters are misleading k&n drop in filters have been bench tested we bench test them at school and they are a proven method to make your engine perform better. Mythbusters does a dyno on cai pods and it's busted
you should always build your control and safety before the power, to properly adjust to the vehicle with little surprise when the power is added. Safety means you can try again if you fail.
I have a 1997 Cadillac Catera and I can never find anything for my car and would rather like to engine swap or performance upgrades but I can't ding anything for my car. Can you help me out?
So if a Turbo charging kit is available for a specific make and model of car, can it be applied to that same make and model of car that didn't ORIGINALLY come with Turbo or is the kit just used to replace it?
Hi and thanks for your question. Please call 1-800-ASK-MOBIL to discuss in more detail. Our customer care team is ready to help answer any questions you may have.
your go kart racing has set regulations on the mods you are allowed and these are for cars, your go karts don't work under the same principles. If you really want more power since im assuming your using a 4 stroke honda/clone, get a rotax max, and if that isn't enough, get a second one/aixro xr50/brc 150
Jaspreet Singh Brar unless you have a 600 hp engine a larger exhaust isn't gonna do anything. in fact it will take away power if you aren't increasing displacement or setting up your car to run a higher octane gas or turbo your not gonna get much more of a power boost. supercharger or turbo is definitely your best bet. I had a Dodge neon that I wanted to turn into a sleeper 10 years ago and I changed the headers exhaust performance chip intake and made my own motor mounts and I didn't notice much of a gain In power but it sounded really good tho.
im ganna start with break with crappy drum breaks on the back and normal non vented discs on the front not going to stop with much more power than car already has with its vvti engine lol
Boosting and tuning aren't basic mods, while the tuning may only require plugging in and pressing buttons, the wrong tune can ruin your car and messing during installation can kill your ecm just an fyi
why would you put the air filter under the hood open like that wouldnt you think running it with the stock air box better being you dont suck up all the hot air from the engine
a properly setup cold air intake will increase power. but these short ram intakes everyone seems to put in thinking its a CAI literally suck up hot air as you have said. short ram just gives you sound
A cold air intake will work but only if: - Aluminum heat shield is installed so it doesn't heat soak - Heat reflector on the pipe - Increased airflow to the fabricated aluminum heat shield So just adding an intake will not work. Doing it the right way will give you more horsepower. Doing it for aesthetics will reduce bhp
Cheers for this, I have been researching "modding cars for dummies" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Vabrielbey Vehicle Verifiability - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my colleague got cool results with it.
Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "simple car upgrades" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Vabrielbey Vehicle Verifiability - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my buddy got amazing results with it.
Um no not buy a new car, most of these modifications are like 30-100$ each, the last I knew the cheapest new car you can get is 13k so it’s cheaper to upgrade the one you got
This was great, thanks, I been tryin to find out about "easy performance mods your car" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Vabrielbey Vehicle Verifiability - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my co-worker got amazing results with it.
Gee, this really helped! Not. I know what I want to do, I just do don't know HOW to do it (you know taking things apart and all). I've hit a brick wall all my car has is a weapon R short ram and a Magnaflow exhaust I didn't install.
Come on Man! the #6 should be the #1 first of all i want to crush some of you that do bolt on mods. should start with getting a tuner not some bull that has 2 tunes but one that will work with you as you make modifications. OEM that is factory settings on your cars computer. You can modify to your heart is content and in some issues you can get in trouble! first the computer as factory settings is set to an air fuel mixture, cold air intake makes a bit of change. exhaust cat back will do the same , make more noise and such, The issue is this you can fck up your car, if you do some stuff like throttle body mods.look i done my research and even when fuel is involved if your car settings is to 87 octane and you put higher, it wont make that much of difference as your computer always compensates as it was programmed, you might get a slight but not worth the money . you can disagree with me, but facts are facts , can't disregard truths or logic . yet the placebo effect it is and effect so more power to you. Facts if you don't tune your wasting your money , and could lead you in to a NOVA , that is Spanish that meant don't GOn LOL chevy figure that out on Spanish speaking countries sales were not good.
