I use the alarms on my Pro 5 to remind me to do things at a specific time during the day so my Pro 5 is never in Essential mode for an alarm. I still use my phone as an alarm clock. So I decided to do a quick test... - I set an alarm at 20:55 - I manually put my Pro 5 into Essential mode at 20:50 - I waited and watched the time on my watch's low power display get to 20:56 but NO alarm !!! - I switched the watched back into normal mode - When the watch had fully restarted it then sounded the alarm. So it seems that alarms will not work in Essential mode ... this surprised me ... unfortunately it seems that waking up on time is not essential!!!
I really hope that Mobvoi do update the Pro5 regularly. I didn't mention in the video ... but I was disappointed that Google Assistant is still not supported on the Pro 5 ... cross fingers Assistant will be included in the next update 🤞
Bought this watch 2 days ago and i'm happy with almost everything, expect the sleep tracking accuracy and battery life (not as good as expected), the sleep tracking is absolutely terrible, much much much worse than my Huawei band 7 and 6
I am surprised that the battery life is not as good as expected. I recharge most mornings back up to about 80% in less than 15mins typically from just under 60%. If I cannot recharge for any reason ... I just leave it until the following day. I have got 3 days normal use out of the watch with out recharging. I am confident I could get a 4th day if required. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uq167ziy-8M.html Maybe it is because the watch is new and you are using it much more than you would when you have had it for a couple of months? Another thought is ... have you setup essential mode overnight? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tLjnyD8X2iw.html I am happy with the sleep tracking ... it seems accurate to me but I have not got anything to compare it to so it could be inaccurate.
@@Helpful-Stuff i did have the auto essential mode on, yesterday i woke up at 5:30am, turned off essential mode and used the watch for more than 1 hour (just playing around), but at 7:30am it decided to mark my wakeup time at 7:30, totally unacceptable.
I have woken up in the middle of the night & could not get back to sleep so I got up and done some stuff and then gone back to bed and slept and the Pro 5 captured that correctly with 2 sleep periods. So I am surprised by what you are describing. I think the Pro 5 should be able to correctly record an early wake up time. If you go into TicSleep and tap the settings cogwheel below todays sleep record ... My Pro 5's "Sleep cycle" is set to 22:30 to 06:00 ... and the "Non-tracking time" is set to 09:00 to 20:00 ... this save battery power by not tracking for sleep during the daytime. I am just wondering if Non-tracking time is set correctly ... this might explain your high battery usage and the inability to track sleep correctly.
@@Helpful-Stuff I didn't set the "non-tracking time" cuz sometimes i take a 1 hour nap during the day, but tbh, the fast charging time is such a relief, it's even quicker than my Huawei band 7 so maybe if TWP5 can last a bit longer after my heavy usage days, then i'll be happy.
