Do just one single mock with the entire studio itd be refreshing not to see you guys mock against computer that drafts 7 wrs in a row for the 100th time
You’re looking too much into it. Mocks are meant to show general ADP. A real draft is never going to fall how a mock will, but from a far enough perspective you will see how the chips will kind of fall.
Mike went Harrison instead of Puca as he didn't was the RB/WR stack from the Rams, then later picked Connor so has an RB/WR stack from the Cardinals instead. I'm curious if knowing this now would rather have had the kiran/puca stack instead of Harrison/Connor
choosing white over henry at the 2.12 seems insane to me. starting cmc/henry + wr seems like upside that no other team can replicate. especially with how shaky round 2-4 WRs are this year
didn't like the 3 wr in a row...would have taken Cook as a flex...need 3 rb's early drop off too much...lots of mid tier WR...this is not the year for 0 RB.....need to lock up some volume guys.....
Tbf i dont think its because all three will be as valuable as where theyre drafted but because of the uncertainty of the ranking of their values if that makes sense
@@calvinkilby6477 definitely makes sense but it's also super rare for a QB to support 2 top WRs consistently so it just seems much more likely that all 3 cap each other than it does for any one of them to break out and justify a 2nd/3rd round pick IMO.
I really think for these episodes you guys should put the league settings for the draft in an overlay graphic and make the draft itself take up more of the screen. I love your beautiful faces, but when i'm watching I want to see the teams you're creating, I want to see who you drafted earlier.
At 1.01 i feel like you take deebo there for sf stack and derrick henry for the tds. Henry and CMC are monster combo if you think about it from touch down possibilities.
I actually feel that being "at the turn" (having either the 1st, 2nd, 11th or 12th pick in a 12-team Draft) is kind of fantastic. It enables you to fill 2 spots every time you pick. Yes, there's a long wait, but every Draft position has its pros and cons. Love the show, guys. All three of you are just so insightful, helpful and entertaining as hell. Cheers from New Orleans.
It would be cool if u guys still incorporated the Mayhem. Maybe take the 3 u have and add 3 more. Then randomly pick 2 each to be used at any time. Other Mayhems could be like "next in adp", "the 10th best player in adp" or a wildcard (choose any of the 5 others). It would be amazing!
Hey guys, been loving the show for years and I’ve gotten 3rd place every season for the past 4 years so just under getting my buy in back. Can yall do an 8 team draft (1QB, 2RB, 2WR, WR/TE, & Flex)? Good luck to all the ballers out there this season?
Yooooooo guys. Superflex Dynasty, what do you guys think about trading away Lamar for Kyler and the 1.03? I have McBride and the 1.04 already, and I’m aiming to get JD5 and Nabers. Good plan? Awful?
HOLD UP, the "quick break" looks like it was 0 seconds according to the mock draft.......Mike's pick was at 23:59:17 before and after the break! Sneaky sneaky, lol
I know im just an idiot, but this is the second time youve mentioned an ADP comparison tool; i have had the draft kit the last 6 years, and I have never found this tool. Do i need to upload my team vefore i can access this?
Is there a reason why it's always a 12 team mock when statistics prove most of fantasy leagues are 10 team?? Need more 10 team mock drafts. What the heck!
I have pick 12 this year and it’s been really tough to make a decision. Very similar to what happened here. I like Gibbs and Kyren, but not starting off with an elite WR is tough. Then again, I don’t really like any of the WRs there (Wilson, Puka, Marvin), and I actually like some of the RBs later.
Personally I’m taking Gibbs at 7-8 ish. I know I’m more bullish than just about anyone but I really think he’s gonna pop off this year, don’t think the “split” will be bad because there will be so many opportunities for both rb’s.I think it’s a no brainer at 12. Definitely understand about the wr’s tho. I’d go Marv and then try to get Kyler
I have I think 16 players ranked fairly high and then like 17-30 ish are super similar to me, so I want to be anywhere but 4-7 so I can either get 2 of these guys with a later pick, or get a stud like CMC, CeeDee ect with a high pick
Ballers! Interesting question for you. What would you compare your entire FAAB allowance to in terms of capital from a value perspective. For example, in a trade would you rather give up a 3rd round pick for a player or your entire FAAB allowance. Curious your thoughts.
I’m picking 10th in a 10 team league with 2 keepers. I’m hoping Marvin Harrison Jr. has his ADP drop cause i really want him on my team but looking unlikely at the moment 😭😭
@tetoleetd agreed, but you obviously caught on so im everyone else did, and it was the shortest way to type it out. I just found it funny that Mike had just discussed not stacking ( picking players from the same team) and then 1 of the auto teams doing just that 2 spots later.
One of the biggest misses of these early drafts to me is how low Ford is going and how anyone is drafting Chub (28 yrs old). No one wants to pretend they are a doctor but RU-vid Nick Chub's injury and do the eye test (on an empty stomach). And, remember he had a second surgery in November. Chub at best will be a late season curtain call who will potentialy start the season on injured reserve before he slowly gets game time with the hope that maybe he will be up to speed by the NFL playoffs. He is a muddy situation that will be taking up a roster spot and a shot at waiver wire upside.
You guys should fill up the mock drafts with 10-12 real managers. Ask the other owners to pick fast. It will still be way more realistic. Sleeper app mock drafts do not play out even remotely close to real life
Can someone explain to me why Isaiah Pacheco is a 3rd round pick? Seems like the whole fantasy community is sleeping on him. I’m taking him early this year
All three Texans receivers going in the third round is WILD… No way I’m drafting any of the three this year.. They’re a pretty bad bet, because best case you get one of the top two who constantly vulture off of each other, worst case you get the odd man out. No thank you.
@@DylanWolfram14 I mean for one year maybe. Not long term. Rice is gonna be suspended half the year at least. That’s a tough call. I mean Terry will have a good year I think with samual gone and DANIELs at qb
I usually agree with a lot of what you guys say and I love the content. But you're smokin crack with that Patriots being .500 after 8 weeks. They are by far the worst team in the AFC East... Dolphins (much better), Jets (much better), even the depleted Bills (are better).
As boring as he is I picked White ahead of Achane in a redraft the other day. It was painful and did not feel good. White a consistent safe pick at RB who will get the team usage and has one of the easiest RB schedules this year.
@@spearfishmusic9894 idk man. I do a lot of drafting on Underdog, where money is on the line every draft. Yes receivers are pushed up the board but White is going round 5/6 every draft. 2.12 or 3.1 it’s a bad pick imo.
@@5thDownPodcast I would take Achane anyday over White in best ball. And, in Underdog for sure as Achane has way more upside. I'm extrememly heavy on Achane in best ball. I find in redraft I can win with consistancy better than extreme point fluctioations even if at the end of the year the latter scores more points. Rankings shoot for end of year point totals and don't actualy tell you when you should draft someone to win a redraft league. White ranked 7 out of all players in Value over replacement player or VORP lasy year in Yahoo redraft leagues. Also, lots of excused but I had just drafted Achane over White in my previous Yahoo redraft and was also trying to limit my exposure because of injury risk. I play about 6 redrafts prior to the start of the season and in retrospect it would be smarter to get as much Achane as possible and then trade if over exposed. I do have a fear of preseason injuries however as one year I was wiped out drafting, Dobbins, Akers, and Etienne heavily when they all went down with injury prior to the start of the season. One team had all three.
Jason Andy then Mike way in last place eating dirt I think if Mike won more than 4 games in year he would consider that a win atleast he got Blake corum to go with K Williams.
