In this video, Belle, a learner driver, teams up with Richard from 'R' Drive School of Motoring for a mock driving test. Belle showcases impressive driving skills throughout most of the test, demonstrating control, awareness, and confidence on the road. However, just as she's nearing the finish line, an unexpected encounter with a taxi causes a last-minute slip-up. Watch to see how Belle handles the situation and the lessons learned from this real-world driving scenario. A great watch for learners preparing for their own driving test!

I live locally to Kettering and know it well for driving. One thing I notice with almost all of your videos is that when setting off from the test centre on the route towards the A14 all of your learners approach the initial “Tesco” island in the left hand lane then go round to take the 3rd exit without any right hand indication, going past the Kettering (Pytchley road) and Holdenby Road exits from that left hand lane, indicating left as they leave the roundabout. Maybe I’m a fossil but I wouldn’t personally do that and would actually see it as a dangerous manoeuvre? I’d primarily take the right hand lane onto the roundabout, indicating right to go past the first 2 exits then indicate left and take the 3rd exit, joining the road in the outside lane (then move over to the left lane when safe if applicable). Or - if the road signs indicate it’s permissible use the left hand lane then once past the first exit I’d stay in the outer lane, indicating right, past the 2nd exit then indicate left to take the 3rd exit and be in the left hand lane to go up towards the A14. This has been a substantial topic of debate in our house with my son (passed 3 years ago) emphatically telling me the L driver is correct but I just don’t see how!!! The lane markings do not state that the left lane is for the 3rd exit (or I don’t think they do) Really enjoy your videos of the roads I know but would really appreciate your expert view on why I’m wrong! 😊
