Skulpt is the latest member of the Modal Electronics synthesizer family - a 4-voice, polyphonic, programmable synth that seriously defies its humble size. With up to 128 patch preset memories on board across 8 banks of 16, Skulpt delivers a versatile range of killer synth sounds right out the box, but offers all the programmability of a flagship analog synthesizer...all in a portable, take-anywhere package.
Powered by 8 oscillators per voice with 2 selectable morphable waveforms, Skulpt offers a rich analogue soundscape that rivals any synth twice the size or twice the price. Skulpt features Monophonic, Duophonic and Polyphonic modes so you can dial in the exact sound you want, when you want it. Skulpt can be triggered and played via the on-board, responsive ribbon-style keyboard, or hooked up to an external MIDI keyboard via MIDI DIN IN and OUT functionality.
Skulpt features a fully programmable mixer stage for osc levels along with FM, PWM, tuning and Ring Modulation options. Each rotary control feels rugged and highly tunable.
Skulpt features an intuitive top panel with easy hands-on access to all the main synth parameters. As well as a MIDI In / Out connection for hooking up external gear, the on-board audio interface features Sync In and Out mini jacks, a line output and a stereo headphone output.
