Before watching, I'm guessing I've already nerfed most of the strong effects you'll mention in your run 😆 ETA cards already nerfed that you mentioned: all Carrier paths, Swarm Tactics, Recombinant Virus Cards I'm taking notes on: Hurried Exit, Multistranded DNA, Room for Growth, and more Recombinant notes
45:45 You killed.... Archus's shard? Huh. Apparently Contagion can spread to and kill phased units. 50:55 Shame. The other day I had an incredible run with For the Greater good and the +20 Attack per shard Spine Chief. I gave it -2 and holdover, made another one and the floor went completely ballistic. Don't need to care about some of them dying if I can just keep making more.
24:00 Literally kills imps, tombs and viruses plus killing the front enemy unit. It solves harvest and imp runs with Light's Gift. It can be quite the useful card in my opinion, and goes well with a clan that focuses in spawning units. In the immortal words of Marge: I just think they're neat.
The 'floor you ended your turn at' seems like an interesting mechanic albeit gimmicky. But I gotta say the fact that you can drop your whole floor from top to bottom then raise it to the top and drop again is kinda hilarious.
39:28 It's actually fine. It turns it into a draw relic, at the cost of needing to draw it first, and capping your hand to 9 cards. Not super great, but it's usable. Definitely better than Sharpen.
Hooray for mods! I hope we can see more of these in future, though I agree as it stands here this mod is completely OP. Which means I need to go play it before it gets nerfed...
Quite the interesting modded clan! It's also nice to see a return to the series (even if it doesn't stick around for long) - it's interesting to see the different ideas people have for creating modded clans.
I was waiting for this actually since I played this clan. It feels very well made and balanced. And it actually feels like it belongs into this game, it's far less gimicky and weird then other custom clans that I played or watched. This one feels really quality imo.
Even this is modded content, i enjoyed this video. I still prefer to vanilla version of this game, but if mods like this would come up, like once in every 3-4 weeks, i would definitly watch this. Also the thing about Contagion: It´s like Reap, but with extra steps.
I find it interesting your instant dislike of Mass Hallucinations, because i think mine collapse in your UBP works pretty similarly? you could give it a doublestack and use it on second floor, though it def seems easy to mess up with and accidentally let a whole wave to your pyre. also seems good for dealing with curse dudes
Seems like the mod suffers a bit from the mildly misguided logic of "certain cards should be strong". No card should really ever be "strong", cards should be made strong through synergistic game play.
@lordluhut4607 right, but he mentioned that the mod creator has a youtube channel and we should go check him out. It would be easier to do that if he had linked to the mod maker's YT, which is why i asked for it
