Today we’re checking out the @gateronofficial Lunar Probe switches! These were sent out to me by Ikasaya to check out! So big thanks for them 🙏🏻
So the Lunar Probe switches are very unique as they are “Dual Rail Structure” switch that I am aware of. The dual rail structure allows the stem to travel up and down the rail with almost zero stem wobble. It’s actually kinda nutty!

The switches are lubed from the factory and are insanely smooth. Idk if it’s bc of the dual rail structure or just an improved lubing method, but it’s fantastic. In hand the switches have zero spring ping or leaf crunch. This carries over to the typing sound as well.
Now I’m not sure if it’s because of the Dual Rail but at an operating force of 45g these feel a tad heavier than I was expecting! Not too heavy to hinder you during long typing sessions but it is definitely noticeable.
The sound signature of these switches could only be described as deep and poppy which I really love. Even on a carbon fiber plate the switches sound deep (in a good way) especially the spacebar and modifier keys.
