In this orchestral music full of instruments, we try out the surround sound experience provided by atmos and dolby digital. The music was originally created in Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 and this became a 5.1 Dolby Digital mix for the youtube video. My tv supports 5.1 and plays very well with my surround speakers. This is the only pure and true surround 5.1 music I found in RU-vid. Rest all are demo. Wish the music was long

@@calvingladue4470 RU-vid does not support Dolby Atmos binaural mixes. However, it does support Dolby Digital+, which is the codec that Atmos is streamed as. RU-vid also supports 4.0 and 5.1 Dolby Digital+ channel-based mixes.

Nope youtube only support dolby digital 5.1, not Dolby Atmos

Hey Charlie! awesome sound just on my lap top.Question? Im getting ready to bite the big one, buy the Sonos Ark ,sub nini and 2 era 300 for the rear... Maybe add 2 more 300's for front L and R speakers later. Would this set up be adequate for music and movies (spotify & netflix)? All suggestions welcomed

It will definitely be a big change and you will get a much clearer and more detailed sound image. So the main element for you will be your TV, from which the sound is also received by the sonos. What TV are you using now?

Today I came to know one thing. I am having lg 4k Dolby digital plus tv. I connect it with my old 5.1 channel home theater through bluetooth in home theater. Then I played RU-vid video of Dolby atmos and 5.1 channel. I select sound in tv as 'auto'. And it worked. I felt Dolby atmos surround music. There is no need to select 5.1 in RU-vid; rather when I select 5.1 in RU-vid; it was not giving effect rather volume reduced automatically and voice was coming like voice chock up. It means when you select auto sound in tv ; then you should not select 5.1 in RU-vid. I came to know this thing today.

doesnt show any pure 5.1 channel audio.. what im lisening is just stereo L/R , 2 channel audio. does youtube provide 5.1 channel audio?

Connect tv with HDMI ARC/eARC to receiver MONITOR OUT by using hdmi cable.Get DD+ 5.1 surround sound,not Dolby Atmos.

If your TV supports it by default, then yes!

@@mirzabahirudgi9901 Still bluetooth either from mobile phone or tv doesn't support 5.1 surround sound.In order to hear 5.1 surround sound,must connect hdmi cable from tv HDMI ARC/e ARC to receiver MONITOR OUT then you can get 5.1 surround sound.Tv sound must select to HDMI out instead tv speaker out.

First Dolby atmos can't support 5.1 track,dolby Atmos track playing 5.1 you can feel atmos minimum 9.2.4 or above channel speaker feel just 20 to 40℅ only
