Thanks for the insight, I definitely need to get a better understanding of how I can disrupt a player during their upkeep... thinking of taking this similar sideboard and trimming a rebuke and a nature's claim for two dismember. Actually 3 nature's claim so I can add Grafdigger's cage as well.
really enlightening to see scales take the controlling role vs. hammer. think i've been approaching the matchup incorrectly by trying to race, but you illustrated really well that hammer doesn't have any good catch up mechanics if they're reduced to topdeck mode - claiming sagas looks super powerful!
